Welcome to Little Lane Campsite (previously known as Torver Pop Up Campsite), located down a single track road in a secluded field in the small hamlet of Torver, near Coniston. This quiet site is situated in the heart of the Lake District with views of the surrounding rolling hills and a glimpse of Coniston Old Man! The back to basics site is surrounded by sheep and other wildlife, making this a campsite on the wild side!

Lovely pitch with good views, plenty of clean water, and portable toilets were available.

Lovely small campsite, very basic, but it is what it is. Staff were helpful & would go back again for short break (there are no shower facilities, so not suited for a long stay).

I don't know if I can say much as I only stayed one night but honestly it was so nice - got a great view and it's really simple which I found amazing! You can just get set up without any hassle checking in. And you've got an absolutely cute village with everything you could ask for personally we got fish and chips but there's a lot of options. If you're looking for something cheap and simple I couldn't recommend this enough. To top it off it's very remote so you don't get any disturbance apart from sheep.

Beautiful place, owners very friendly and helpful. Definitely love that place, it's really close to The Old Man of Coniston, about 10 min to drive 👍 also kids and dog friendly 👍

Quiet site away from the busy part of the Lakes but within easy reach of the central part.

Beautiful location run by a helpful young couple. Facilities vary basic but clean and adequate. If you want simple camping this is for you. If you are looking for loads of facilities then go elsewhere. Much of the ground is sloping but there were enough flat spots for everybody that was there when I was there. Only one suggestion - could we have a separate recycling bin as there was a lot of rubbish in the general bins that should have been recycled.
