This small touring site is ideally situated on the Shropshire and Wales border, perfect for exploring the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the stunning county of Powys. The site has just five hardstanding touring pitches, each with 16 amp electric, suitable for caravans and motorhomes. With scenic views and easy access from the A489, this is a great location for those wanting to explore the stunning countryside, or the Shropshire Way and Offa's Dyke Route. Bishop's Castle is just a five minute drive away over the border. Full of funky shops, pubs and two microbreweries (Six Bells and Three Tuns), it makes for the perfect evening or day out! This site is a certificated location with Caravan and Motorhome Club, therefore guests must be a member. Dogs are welcome.

If you're wanting to see the stunning Welsh countryside, but would rather do it in comfort, then Welshpool and Llanfair Light Railway (35 minutes) will be perfect for you. Sit back and relax on a vintage steam train as you are guided through the valleys. With audio tours and even a fish and chip train available, it is truly a must-visit!
But, if you're looking to adventure by foot, bike or even horseback, visit the Carding Mill Valley and the Long Mynd (25 minutes). It is an idyllic place to explore with stunning walking, cycling and horse riding trails through the valley and past streams.
Powis Castle and Garden is a beautiful National Trust property 25 minutes from the site. The dramatic Medieval castle has a precious collection of Indian artefacts on display, along with beautiful furniture and tapestry. Its stunning multi-layered gardens also make for the perfect place to wander on a summer afternoon.
