Definition of Services
The Campsites.co.uk website and other sites in the Digital Outdoors network are directories of companies offering camping, caravanning and other outdoor holiday accommodation and services in the United Kingdom. These services may be varied at any time.
All new listings require approval before they are shown on our websites and are normally approved within 2 working days for paying listings and 14 working days for free basic listings. Listings for businesses which we do not deem relevant may be removed without notice.
In creating a site listing, the creator agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions which may be reasonably varied and amended at any time.
Fees and Renewals
Sites can choose between a Bookable listing (pay as you go, via commission due on confirmed bookings) or a free basic listing, for which no payment whatsoever is due.
Featured Boosters
A limited number of featured booster slots are available in each area for any given month. Sites with featured boosters are given priority in the search results to maximise exposure.
Featured boosters are only available to sites with Bookable listings and are non-refundable.
Free Basic Listings
Basic telephone-only listings are available free of charge to all approved sites. However, such listings will only appear on the website once marketing details have been completed to an acceptable standard.
Data Quality
It is important that the information for any site listing is unique, accurate, complete and up-to-date. Incomplete or incorrect listings may be excluded from the website at our discretion, though we will do our utmost to help sites avoid this.
We reserve the right to edit listing content, particularly in cases where sites should not appear on one or more of the network websites or when duplicate content has been posted on other accommodation websites or a site's own website.
Any sites posting inappropriate, profane, defamatory, infringing, obscene, indecent or unlawful content may have their listing suspended without notice or refund.
Data Ownership
Our goal is to provide a comprehensive search of camping, glamping and touring sites across the UK. In creating a listing, sites authorise us to display their site details on the Digital Outdoors network until such time as the site is no longer operating. We will not generally remove listings unless a site has closed down. Listings should only be created by business owners or staff with the necessary authority.
By uploading photos and other marketing information, sites accept sole responsibility for the content displayed on their listing. Sites guarantee that they have the necessary consent to use any and all uploaded materials, indemnify us against any third party claims or damages, and grant us full permission to publish and otherwise use the materials for reasonable purposes without royalty in perpetuity.
Liability
Sites have sole responsibility for abiding by all laws, rules and regulations applicable to the listing and the conduct of your business, including but not limited to requirements relating to taxes, copyright, data security, data and privacy, planning permission, licence requirements, health and safety compliance and insurance.
In no event shall Addactive Limited and its equity holders, officers, directors, agents and/or employees be liable for any costs, loss of profits, loss of contract or any indirect, consequential, special or incidental losses, data loss or corruption or punitive damages arising out of, based on, or resulting from a campsite's use of this website, even if the Company has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Marketing Permissions
Sites listing with us agree to receive occasional emails about other products and services we feel may be of interest.
