Originally used by shepherds at lambing time, the compact hut at Boturnell Barns offers stunning views and a dog friendly space close to Bodmin Moor. Although only 6ft x 11ft 4", it has all the essentials inside. Set in its own private garden with access to 8 acres of woods, it makes an ideal base for you and your pets to explore Cornwall from!
About Boturnell Barns
The hut has recently been refurbished and is furnished with a comfy futon sofa bed and a toasty log burner with hob and oven for cooking. Warm and safe from the elements, it also includes electricity and a flat screen TV with integral DVD player for when you fancy unwinding at base. It has its own enclosed garden, with chimenea and stunning views over the valley and woods. Pets are very welcome, and stay free of charge.

A shower room and toilet for guest use is two minutes from the hut. Wi-Fi is available on the farm, but may not reach you in the hut. Water is available from the site's own spring.

We do ask that dogs are kept on the lead in the farm yard. Enjoy yourselves, and any questions, ask us.
Things to do on site and in the Liskeard area
Beaches at Looe, Par, Polperro and even the North Coast are easily accessible.
The hut is very close to Bodmin Moor, where you can wander between the Stripple Stones or go in search of Hawk's Tor. Plus, there are some lovely walks around Cardinham Woods and Goliatha Falls.
Why not explore the heritage trails in Liskeard or walk the coastal paths - originally used by customs men when tracking smugglers!
