About Mosedale End Farm Glamping Pod
Nestled on a charming farm, shadowed by the stunning Carrock Fell, this modern private pod offers breathtaking views of the lambing fields and hay meadows. Easy access to the rest of the Lake District, tranquillity, and dark skies. The beautifully furnished pod comfortably accommodates up to two guests and features a double bed. Inside is a dining area, and a mini kitchenette with everything you need to prepare delicious meals, including a microwave and fridge. You'll also find a kettle, toaster, crockery, cutlery, and kitchen utensils. The ensuite bathroom includes a sink, toilet, and full-size shower, with bedding and towels provided for your convenience. Outside, you'll have access to the garden area next to a stream, with a picnic bench. Perfect for soaking up the fresh air and picturesque views. The veranda is thee perfect place to sit and watch the farm life from your peaceful corner of the Lake District. There's also a fire pit with a pizza oven available for an extra charge for logs. For an added touch of luxury, breakfast hampers are delivered straight to your door every morning (additional cost)! Guests can enjoy free WiFi during their stay. Please note that the site is adult only and pets are not permitted on the premises.

Our stay was really memorable, Joanne was really helpful and went above and beyond to show us some of the farm animals such as baby lambs and badgers. The pod was very warm, clean and well stocked with information relating to the local area and about their story with the farm. Would stay again and recommend to others that are in the area.

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for two nights. This place was amazing, it was so peaceful and the pod itself was so clean and cosy as well. I highly recommend coming here if you want a weekend away or longer.

Things to do on site and in the Penrith area
Set in a quieter corner of the Lake District, this site has plenty of activities and things to do nearby. Being at the foot of Carrock Fell, the site is perfect for keen walkers with the hike to the 931m peak of Skiddaw taking around three hours.
Carrock also has a rich mining history, and visitors can explore the main mine site at the top of the Swineside Valley, which takes approximately 40 minutes to walk to. From there, you can walk up onto the back of Carrock.
Take a boat trip across Ullswater and admire the views. Ullswater Steamers (30 minutes) have been offering cruises across the glorious lake since the 1900's with stop offs available all around the lake so you can hop on and off as you wish.
For those seeking a refreshing swim, Bowscale Tarn (15 minutes) offers wild swimming opportunities.
