About Wigwam Holidays Eden Valley
Nestled in the Eden Valley on a scenic 500 acre working farm, this peaceful glamping site offers an idyllic countryside retreat. Within a 20 minute drive of Carlisle and the Lake District National Park, there are also plenty of nearby attractions to enjoy, along with glorious walking and cycling routes. Each of the four person pods includes a double bed and double sofa bed, whilst the five person accessible pod includes two double sofa beds and a single bed. All include luxury memory foam mattresses along with bedding and towels for two. Extra bedding and towels can be added to your booking. All feature a small kitchenette area for all of your cooking needs, including a fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, electric hob, crockery, cookware and sink. To keep you toasty, there is a heater, along with an ensuite shower, loo, sink, and heated towel rail. There is also a dining table, chairs and a TV. For sitting back and admiring the countryside views, there is a picnic bench and a BBQ/fire pit for al fresco cooking. You can also add a wood-fired hot tub and firewood to your booking if you want to unwind in style! The five person lodge features an adapted, accessible ensuite wetroom and also provides wheelchair access. Dogs are also welcome to join you in the pet friendly pods, with up to two allowed per unit.
Wigwam Holidays Eden Valley is open all year round.
Each pod has ensuite facilities and an optional hot tub to add to your booking. There is also secure storage for bikes.
For something to eat or drink, the nearest pub is The Pheasant Inn Cumwhitton, a 20 minute walk away. Armathwaite Village Store is a 5 minute drive away for any essentials.

We've just come back from a short getaway from Wigwam Eden Valley. The pod was well prepared, clean, warm and very homey. Adam is helpful and friendly. He welcomed us with a pre-heated hot tub upon our arrival. This was our first time in a pet-friendly pod, it was truly a relaxing and peaceful two-night stay with our lovely cat. The pod has a kitchen, toilet and a shower. Has a comfortable bed, and a small TV. Outdoor has a communal BBQ and a hot tub. Just a side note that the Wi-Fi has a weak signal but it did not bother us because we were there to enjoy nature and the outdoors. Also, the pod has so many USB plug sockets. I recommend visiting Windermere and taking a cruise to Ambleside. We have enjoyed our weekend her and would use a pod again! Highly recommended.

We had a 2 night stay in the accessible glamping pod for 5. We added on the hot tub and are so happy we did. We are a family of 5 and had plenty of room. The pod was spacious and clean. We were happy to find little added extras such as a small basket of biscuits, teas and coffee, plastic wine glasses and lots of cutlery. We were greeted by farmer Adam, he was warm and welcoming and happy to chat. We were celebrating our daughter's birthday and he went out of his way to have a card and cupcakes waiting for her. He offered to take us to see the calves, which we all enjoyed. The location was nice, quite close to a few walks and a short distance to a wonderful pub. We enjoyed the hot tub both nights, which was lit and ready for us each night! We wouldn't hesitate booking again as it was so quiet, Adam and his wife are very welcoming.

Everything was perfect. The hot tub was heated ahead of our arrival and everything was sparkling clean, with plenty of cutlery, plates and glasses. The location is super peaceful and has gorgeous views. 10/10 recommend.

Things to do on site and in the Carlisle area
Just a 15 minute drive from Carlisle, there are plenty of nearby attractions to enjoy. The famous 12th century Carlisle Castle offers a museum and Roman relics, with plenty of shops and local eateries to enjoy, along with Fusion Trampoline Park and Jurassic Golf Carlisle for letting the kids burn off some energy.
The Lake District National Park is also within a 30 minute drive, perfect for scenic walks and hikes. Aira Force Waterfall is a 45 minute drive away along with Ullswater, ideal for watersports and boat trips.
The end of the Hadrian's Wall Path can be picked up a 25 minute drive away, also surrounded by stunning scenery. The North Pennines Area of Oustanding Natural Beauty are five minutes away too!
