This family-run campsite offers riverside meadow pitches in North Wales, just 10 minutes from the market town of Denbigh. The campsite is proud to have an eco-friendly approach, with all its facilities built using local and recycled resources. There are only eight pitches on offer (three small and five larger). The small pitches are suitable for tents only (measuring 10m x 10m), while the larger pitches are suitable for both tents and small campervans (measuring 15m x 15m). All come equipped with a picnic table and fire pit, allowing guests to fully enjoy the great outdoors. During the summer months, guests can enjoy the beautiful wildflowers too. Campers will be right next to the river feeding into the Afon Ystrad, providing a tranquil soundtrack to guests' stay. Visitors can take a dip or quietly watch the local wild bird residents, including kingfishers and kites. Plus, this rural location boasts minimal light pollution, which makes for breathtaking stargazing opportunities. The site is certified with the Greener Camping Club, so at least one guest per pitch must be a member, though this can be purchased when you book.
