There are over 30 rides and attractions at Adventure Wonderland that will keep families well entertained throughout their visit. The park mainly caters to children up to around 12 years old and features attractions such as the swinging Ghostly Galleon, a Turbo Teacups ride, Flying Elephants and a maze to explore. In addition, pony rides and a hands-on animal encounters will delight animal lovers. The park also has a large indoor play centre which is great for younger kids. 

The park is located at Hurn. Online tickets for adults and children aged 3 and older cost £12.45. Online tickets for children aged 2 are £6.25and entry is free for children younger than 2.

Sealife Adventure Park and Tower

Weymouth’s Sealife Adventure Park and Tower offers magnificent marine fun for a wonderful day out. More than a thousand animals can be seen at the park, from crocodiles and otters to penguins, sharks and turtles. The rides and attractions are aimed at children between 2 and 12 years old and include the likes of a log flume water ride, a walk under the sea courtesy of the Ocean Tunnel, rockpool attractions and the opportunity to watch the daily penguin feeding. The Tower is also a fantastic attraction offering amazing views of the Jurassic Coast.

Online tickets are £15.50 per person and entry is free for children under 3 years old.

 

Splashdown

Splashdown in Poole is the perfect place to get wet and go wild, with an abundance of water-based rides that cater to younger and older visitors alike. The Little Buccaneers SplashZone offers plenty of fun for young adventure seekers, while rides such as the Screamer that features a sheer vertical drop,as well as the Spacebowl where visitors get to experience what it feels like to be a human pinball, are great entertainment for older kids and adults.

Online tickets for the waterpark cost £12.50 per person for all-day access and £6.50 for all-day access for children under 5 years old.

Longleat Safari and Adventure Park

Amazing Longleat offers a roaring good time for visitors of all ages who are keen to see a variety of fantastic animals. Giraffes, lions, cheetahs, elephants and monkeys are just some of the amazing animals waiting to delight visitors in the safari park. The adventure park offers an abundance of exciting attractions such as lake cruises which are a great way to see the resident gorillas, a Postman Pat village, hands-on animal encounters in Jungle Kingdom and an entertaining outdoor adventure playground.

Longleat is located just over the border from Dorset in Wiltshire. Online tickets for visitors aged 15 to 59 cost £26.77 and online tickets for visitors aged 3 to 14 cost.

Fantasy Island Fun Park

Fantasy Island Fun Park in Weymouth can be found right by the sea in Bowleaze Cove and is great for younger children. There is plenty of classic seaside entertainment on offer here including a helter skelter, bumper cars, flying elephants, spinning tea cups and a big wheel. There is also a traditional arcade with all kinds of games and soft play areas.

You can pay for the rides and attractions as you go, with tokens, or you can get a wrist band saver which costs £7.99 for 3 hours with an under 3’s option of £3.50 for 1.5 hours.
