About the site
This family friendly campsite is set in woodland in Berkshire, just ten minutes from Reading. It's a great choice for families with younger children (aged up to eight), with plenty of space to play and explore nature. Guests can pitch up amongst the trees on a range of woodland pitches. There are non electric grass pitches for tents, each able to take groups of up to eight people. There are also electric woodland pitches with 16 amp hook-ups for tents, caravans, campervans and motorhomes, also allowing up to eight. The premium electric pitches offer a little more space and privacy, perfect for a peaceful stay. Access to the park's attractions are included, so little ones can enjoy days of fun with an animal farm, adventure playgrounds, jumping pillow, a dinosaur trail, mini golf, a splash zone, sand and water play, soft play and even play diggers. There are also walking trails and an enchanted forest to explore! Some activities are available for an extra cost, including rides on the miniature railway, animal petting experiences and Welly Wheels, where kids can drive their own mini Jeeps. When it's time to eat, there are several cafes and food kiosks onsite serving everything from breakfast rolls and pancakes to pizzas, burgers, jacket potatoes for lunch and sweet treats like ice cream. Dinner isn't provided in the cafe, so if guests fancy heading out, there are a number of pubs, such as The Iron Duke, The Wellington Arms, New Inn and The Elm Tree, all just a five minute drive away! Dogs are welcome too, with up to three allowed per pitch, so the whole family can come along. In the evening, BBQs and fire pits are allowed as long as they are raised off the ground. Do note, they will not be permitted in hot and dry weather, due to the surrounding woodlands.
