There are electric grass and hardstanding pitches, as well as non electric grass pitches for campers and tourers. The Jurassic coastline is nearby and makes for beautiful walks and days out with the whole family.

We booked our stay here at short notice having stayed nearer Poole for 5 days prior, wanting to extend our stay. Chris was great! Very welcoming, helpful and full of local knowledge! Nothing was too much trouble, lending us an electric adapter and also a dustpan and brush to sweep our tent out! The location was great, just outside Dorchester with easy access to Weymouth and also only 45 minutes from Bournemouth's beaches. Lots of local places to visit with recommendations galore from Chris regarding sights, shops and places to eat and drink. Facilities were spotless, cleaned regularly and there was even a microwave provided, great for heating milk at bedtime for little ones. Chris came across as a genuine man, really wanting to share what he has enjoyed throughout his life, the sights and all of the wildlife that nature has to offer. I wholeheartedly recommend this site.
