Clear filters Camping
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 Even though we only stayed for 1 night it was lovely. Everything was so clean and the staff are amazing. A beautiful location and it was so peaceful. I couldn’t recommend it more!
Review VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 We arrived at 1240 and was charged £5 for arriving 20 minutes early. Even though there were pitches available, could understand if it was a hotel and room wasn't ready.
Reception weren't very welcoming, very straight and did not smile or greet us very warmly, could be much better.
One night stay in the New Forest

Peaceful site with lots of room and facilities available.

Good space between other campers, clean toilets and showers, perfect for camping!
Excellent place to stay
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 Roundhills is my favourite campsite.
The staff are friendly and very helpful. It is peaceful, set in the New Forest surrounded by roaming horses and donkeys. The showers/toilets/ washing up bay are kept extremely clean. Hot running water to wash up and shower.
I love this place.
Spacious, clean and welcoming
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 So many places to choose from to pitch, from.under the trees to open areas.
Checking in was easy. The facilities are all clean with plenty of free hot water in the showers. (Just be careful with little ones though as can get quite warm). Not busy when we visited so no waiting at any time.
Walks from the doorstep and a.short drive into the nearest village.
Lovely campsite, great location and facilities

Lovely location and the campsite was clean and well maintained. Helpful staff. Impressed with the toilet and shower facilities. We stayed in the field which had access to the shepherd hut style showers which were much nicer than any camping wash facilities I have seen before. Lovely being surrounded by the beautiful New Forrest ponies, many of which had foals.
Overall a lovely short stay, would definitely book this campsite again. Highly recommend.
Ideal location for a wander
Motorhome - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 Loved our stay here. Facilities were fab, clean and plentiful.
Our first time in the New Forest, what an incredible place. Bring bikes to go further, but walking quietly through the endless mighty oaks on grazed pathways is timeless and a really soul fulfilling.

Only let down is no facility to freeze cool box ice packs.
We were in a tent so no luxury of inbuilt fridge as in camper vans or caravans.
Very handy for a cycling holiday
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 Lovely spot with great staff and facilities, it lends more to cycling than walking with wide trails criss-crossing woodland and moorland but few footpaths, these, being only to the SW.
This site is popular with families and campervan owners so not as quiet as some sites.
I would suggest one improvement, the great shower cubicles need afternoon shade as they have no ventilation and trap heat readily, I needed another shower after drying myself after showing. Something of a catch 22.

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2025 Good campsite, clean facilities and friendly, helpful staff.
Stayed for a night with a friend to getaway for the evening. Lovely staff welcomed us and got us checked in, went over the basics and gave us a little map of the areas we could pitch up and where the facilities were.
Facilities were nice and clean, showers looked lovely but we didn't have a chance to use them. Nice and quiet at night, though it wasn't busy site when we got there. Looking forward to visiting again for a few more nights in the future!
Long weekend break
Roof Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2025 We had a lovely time, the site is lovely, very large which allows you to have some privacy.
Horses, donkeys and ponies wandering around the site which was lovely to see.
Really enjoyed our stay and will go back again.

The most excellent experience, location, service, facilities.
Cannot rate Roundhill high enough. Booking easy, information top notch. Communication prior to arrival brilliant. Check in brilliant, organised, informative, and staff so pleasant and accommodating. On a motorbike, we wanted woodland cover and away from too many campers. Space was abundant. Perfect pitch.
Site disciplines and fellow camper and wildlife respect evident everywhere. A real joy to bring my 14 year old son on his first bike camp trip. He has lot of camping and hiking experience with his family, usually in the Jeep and more recently, his DofE activities, but bike camping, life in 2 panniers and a tent on a rack, we were set.
Roundhill made it a perfect base to explore. Spacious clean well serviced. Beyond highly commended.
