Peaceful and secluded, Tobacconist Farm is an adult only site just a five minute walk to Michinhampton in the picturesque Cotswolds AONB. There are grass pitches, with optional electric, with 12 suitable for tents, tourers, campervans and motorhomes and six suitable for tents only. Raised fire pits are even provided by the site! Dogs are more than welcome to join you with a designated dog walking area and some great walks directly from the site.

Good location for touring Gloucestershire side of Cotswolds. Good local walks and site is 5 mins from Minchinhampton with a nice Pub - The Crown. Site Owner works hard to keep everything ship shape and friendly welcome, Would recommend.

The site was amazing, large pitches, so quiet and clean and the facilities were spot on. We took our dog, and there was a separate walking facility right on site, which I thought was well planned and a poo bin with bags if needed, we did take our own! Lucy was lovely and was there if needed, but left us alone to enjoy our stay. Definitely going again, hopefully in September.

We stayed as two couples, one of us paid for the electric and stayed in our campervan whilst the others were just in their tent. We were close to be able to move from one set up to. Facilities were clean and above expectation with a communal area. The person who runs the site is lovely and very helpful. Loved the donkeys as well! Lots of walks around however only small shops in walking distance due to the area.

We had a great stay at Tobacconist Farm campsite, facilities were spotless, and the whole site is peaceful and tranquil. The location is perfect for exploring the Five valleys and the glorious commons around Stroud. Lucy was a great help when we needed guidance in where to find help to fix the inevitable maintenance problem with the caravan. Looking forward to returning in the future.

Such a lovely site. The bathrooms were so clean - and it's lovely to have bathrooms!! The village was an easy walking distance and the shops had everything you need: butchers sold all sorts and the bake house cafe sold artisan bread etc. The premier had the basics covered.

All facilities were exactly as described and it was a very convenient 10-minute walk to The Crown in Minchinhampton. Fire pits were available to bring over to the pitch, which was a bonus we have not found on other sites. Because of the higher level of the site, it was great to access an all-grass pitch so early in the year. Really enjoyed our stay.

This was our first time at the campsite. Lucy met us at the gate and immediately made us welcome. The camping field has a deceptive slope, so ramps are recommended. The facilities block was amazing and the facilities are of a very high standard. Due to persistent recent rain, the ground was soft and the gentle slope did provide a challenge in pulling the van off the pitch. Minchinhampton is a wonderful South Cotswold village and worth a visit.
Perfect for our stay, lovely peaceful site!

A lovely little site. Clean toilet facilities with hot showers. Just a stroll away from a great pub, cafe, fish and chip shop, grocery shop and pretty church. Very welcoming and informative host is Lucy. There are Donkeys too. Loved it! Perfect for a stop over, but also great for a base to explore the wider area 👍

Really enjoyed our three night stay here. New facility block, disabled access to two toilets and showers and always spotlessly clean. Adult only and dogs very welcome with a small dog run. Easy 10 min walk to the centre of Minchinhampton and I would really recommend the Amalfi tea room which also allows dogs. We will return. The weather was not so good when we were there, but the site dried out very quickly as it's a chalk based grass field.

Friendly welcome - only wanted to book two nights, but we had to book three, but really good value anyway. The host loaned us a fire pit as compensation which was generous. Really clean facilities, plenty of hot water. Nice and quiet, good local places to eat and drink. Thanks for a lovely stay - would come again.

This is a lovely campsite. Peaceful and relaxed. Stone's throw from the village centre with a great cafe and pub. With a 20 min walk, you're on the common with some fabulous walking and view points 👌

An excellent campsite, the scenery and location is the best I've been to. The owners are very helpful and professional. William, the proprietor, was always very helpful and caring towards us. The showers and toilets are of a high standard to. I strongly recommend this campsite.

This is one of the great campsites in the Cotswolds. Walking distance to the pub in a beautiful village. Also, a walk across the common to another beautiful pub. Brilliant heated toilet facilities and washing machines. Fully serviced pitches for caravans and fire pits provided free (but you have to buy the wood and kindling for them). Lucy and her son are fantastic hosts. Highly recommend this campsite!

Stayed for a couple of nights to visit Westonbirt Arboretum, it seemed to be the only site open in late October. The location is excellent, Minchinhampton is a nice little town with lots of walks across the common etc, and 5 minutes walk from the site. Crown pub is good. Field sloping, pitches level, and each pitch has water and EHU. Well spaced pitches. Facilities really clean, well maintained. We were greeted on arrival and everything, including local walks, pubs etc was explained. To get onto the site, you drive through a fairly untidy yard with a variety of converted vans, old caravans etc. To be honest, we found it a bit off-putting, particularly at £30 a night.
OK site

There had been a lot of rain so the grass did tear up a bit and we couldn't use the ramps but it was reasonably flat anyway. Toilets/showers/kitchen area at the bottom of the field seemed nice and clean. Close to village centre, not a lot there and the bus service is a bit lacking. It served our purpose.
So peaceful

Lovely two nights here - the host chap was lovely and super helpful. Pitch was great - electricity and water and even though we've had a week of rain, the grass pitch was fine. Walks around it are great and just 5 mins on foot to the pub. Lovely! Only downside, we thought it looked a bit of a mess when you drive in with old caravans and old fire pits but it was totally fine once in the field. We will stay again!
Very quiet, well maintained campsite

We were welcomed enthusiastically by Lucy and she quickly showed us to our pitch. She explained the facilities and told us not to worry about the recent heavy rain fall as the site drains quickly and efficiently (as it did). We also brought our car as we were staying in the motorhome but soon found that Minchinhampton is well served by buses. We had a lovely time in the heart of the Cotswolds.

We had a great stay at Tobacconist Farm with friends. We were in our campervans, so nice and cosy when the weather closed in. The owners are very welcoming and the facilities are excellent, very modern and clean. We loved looking at the donkeys. Despite some heavy rain, our pitch drained well and we were able to exit and access the campsite without difficulty. Located on the outskirts of Minchinhampton, we were very handy for visits to The Crown, open in the village after 8 years of closure, the corner shop and the café/bakery (excellent coffee, cake and breakfasts). Thank you, we will return.
