Brilliant site, stayed extra 2 nights. Facilities were clean and plenty of waste bins. Lovely to have ponies roaming free. Definitely will be going back. Bus stop just up the road so no need to drive as we had motorhome. Plenty of room and great spaces for children to play and dogs to walk. Not too far to walk into Brockenhurst. Staff were friendly and very helpful for any queries.

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesApr 2024

Well-maintained, friendly site. Facilities were all spotless, despite the boggy mud outside - the whole New Forest was marshland! Lots of level, shady pitches that feel like wild camping, which is lovely. Lost one star for location as the unavoidable noise from the road might bother some - it didn't worry us though and unless you're unlucky, you can probably find a quiet spot on the further edge of the site. Beautiful walks/bike rides from the site itself without needing to drive anywhere. And the bakery in Brockenhurst is outstanding as a reward for your walk! Staff are super friendly and always very visible and available around the site for advice - although not the cheapest, this site is not bad value at all for such a central New Forest site. Recommended!

Motorhome - Non Electric Grass PitchesMar 2024

We stayed here for the night in our motorhome. Even though the weather was terrible and we got stuck in the mud, the staff were absolutely brilliant. We got pulled out, no worries at all. They were so friendly and so helpful we will be back and hopefully the weather will be on our side
