Brick Kiln Farm is an adult only site surrounded by tranquil countryside, ten minutes to Woodbridge. Framlingham, Sutton Hoo and the coast are also within a 20 minute drive, with plenty to explore in the surrounding area. Fire pits are available for each pitch, with wood onsite available for purchase. Onsite you'll find an honesty shop, table tennis and a reading room, just a short walk across the field to a village shop and pub!

A great, friendly site with lots of thoughtful extras - hairdryer, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge freezer and an amazing little honesty shop. The only downside is night-time noise from the main road not far away, but ear plugs sorted that out.
Site's response
Thank you for taking the time to write a review for me. I appreciate your kind words. You would have been able to purchase the earplugs from the shop so I am glad they came in handy for you! My site has often been described as a field within a field and it is exactly this. I just wanted to clarify your description that the 'main road not far away'. The way I would read this, if I was looking for a peaceful site, is that I was right on top of a main road and I would not book this site. The A12 is close by - 3/4 mile away. The approach to Brick Kiln is along very narrow country lanes so the site is not on the main road. Surprisingly, we are very high up here and the A12 is low within the valley. This is why the sound can travel, depending on the weather, time of day and wind direction! I accept that on some occasions you can hear the noise from the A12. I have lived here for 40+years and the reason I love it is because of the silence and quiet here. In the main, the only sounds you hear are birdsong and pigeons in the trees! Check me out on a map if you are unsure.

Marvellous site. The owners are friendly and helpful. The little extras are a treat. Have never had a kettle, cafetière, microwave, fridge, and gazebo with patio furniture provided before - made camping so much more civilised. The honesty shop, individual fire pits, book shed and self check in office helped make everything feel relaxed and easy. Will return. Lots to do for a six day break in a beautiful, unhurried, untouristy place.

Booked for 4 nights, stayed for 5 and would still be there had the rain not arrived. A very well kept site, with some really useful touches. The owner is delightful and has created a nice place to be. The location is excellent. The site feels remote, albeit usefully close to the A12, making it a great base for touring the Suffolk coast and beyond. Walberswick, Orford and many other market towns and villages within a maximum of 30 mins in the car. It gets better still, as the pub (The Duck) is 15 to 20 mins walk across fields and serves the magnificent Ghost-Ship, well cooked food and a sensational Sunday Roast. Book if you are going for Sunday lunch. The village shop is a little nearer. The only downside is we live a good 3 hours away, so not really suitable for a weekend, but I feel we will be back.

Charming, quiet camping. Good, clean facilities. Not packed in like sardines. Very friendly owner who has tried hard to make the stay at the site welcoming. Lots of nice small touches that make the difference, shows the owner cares. Definitely recommended!

A site for grown up campers with lovely facilities and great fire pits. The ablutions and showers are very homely and keep immaculately clean and tidy. Particular use was made of the on-site honesty shop for firewood, dish washing equipment and other small items that had been forgotten. We appreciated the honesty system, settling the bill for these items as we left. Highly recommend the site and are looking visiting again next year.

Great little site. Easy check-in, good facilities with kettle, microwave, freezer etc. Unisex toilets and showers with a simple queuing system for peak times. Great marquee to use if space in unit is limited and you need somewhere to sit. Easy walk to pub and shop. Loved the fire site per pitch - a great way to spend an evening. Our only regret is that this site is five hours from home so we cannot visit more frequently!
