Briarfields is a very friendly adult-only park in a vibrant location, a few minutes from the M5 motorway. Spacious grass, hardstanding and fully serviced pitches inclusive of electricity along with spotless modern washrooms. Camping pods are also on offer, perfect for friends and families. Cheltenham and Gloucester are easily accessible using the 24-hour bus service or an off-road road cycle path/footpath into both Cheltenham and Gloucester.

Great campsite for visiting Cheltenham and Gloucestershire, or for a stop off on way to the South West Very regular bus service with bus stops right outside the camp. There is a bit of traffic noise but it didn't bother us.

A superb campsite

This campsite is immaculate with well manicured pitches. The toilet and shower blocks are modern and regularly cleaned. Good security as number plate recognition barriers on both entry and exit. Safe and quiet, considering it is quite close to a main road - don't let this put you off as it was a quiet oasis amid an urban area. Pub with reasonable food and a KFC within 5 minutes walk. Definitely well recommended from us.

Site hosts Scott and Jo are excellent! Loads of local info available at the office with many varied and interesting walks exceptionally well mapped out. Very eco-friendly site and beautifully maintained.

We had a lovely week at Briarfield, tent location B in the centre of the site tucked in the top corner with plenty of space with electric hook-up. Sun from early morning shading over mid afternoon. Gravel path leading to the washing up station and shower block which was well maintained and clean. Glass/general waste/recycling bins were found round the back. We had typical British weather, which didn't hamper us as we made the most of the National Trust and English Heritage sites, along with a lovely walk around Puzzle Wood. Great for kids, but make sure you wear good walking boots or trainers due to uneven ground and a visit to Bourton-on-the-Water (download the parking app Pay by Phone and stand by the ticket machine by the public toilets to use the free Wi-Fi in the main car park, giving you flexibility to extend your stay) A short drive and you will find plenty of places to eat if you fancy a night off. Briarfield is located between Gloucester and Cheltenham and close to the M5 so you will hear the traffic but don't let this put you off - still a lovely little site.

First visit to this site but will not be the last. Easy to get to, close to Cheltenham, easy to get into by bus, no need to use car. Only small area for dog but large park short walk away, local shops, takeaways can also be walked to also a pub which we did not try.

Our first stay as a stop off but wish we could stay longer. Site is well situated, yet peaceful. Pitches are clear and all immaculate, as are the toilets. Staff are very friendly and helpful, will be back!

First ever trip so nothing to compare to but was very impressed. Clean, tidy, quiet. Small site so facilities very close. Fill up and empty points plentiful so no long walk with heavy clean/dirty water. This was only 10 miles from home so wouldn’t be a “holiday” choice for us but still a lovely stay and would recommend to anyone wanting to stay near Cheltenham & Gloucester.

Depends on what you want to do, or the environment you want to be in. Under the flight path of light aircraft to and from Gloucester airport. Spotless toilets and showers and helpful staff.

Enjoyed our stay, although the weather was not as good. The site was well kept and facilities clean. Site well appointed to catch a bus into Cheltenham and Gloucester, running regularly and into the evening. Would recommend and return.

Our first trip as novice caravaner and we loved it! Spacious pitches, and fantastic facilities. Loved the music in the washrooms! The bus stop outside entrance meant an easy commute into town. We will return.

Lovely, clean, well run site, ideally located for Cheltenham and Gloucester. Convenient bus stop out side the site, so no need to drive. There is also a Harvester and Green King restaurant in walking distance. The only downside to the convenience of the main bus route is the road noise.

A lovely park with an excellent bus service outside the campsite which facilitates extended travel. The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful. The toilet block was excellent. Pitches are a very good size. We can't say anything bad about this site. Would definitely recommend it.

Used for an overnight stop enroute from Cornwall to Lancashire, as its very near the motorway (Junction 11 on the M5). Very impressed with the site, everything was immaculate, and the facilities first rate. Will use again for a longer stop in the future.
