Briarfields is a very friendly adult-only park in a vibrant location, a few minutes from the M5 motorway. Spacious grass, hardstanding and fully serviced pitches inclusive of electricity along with spotless modern washrooms. Camping pods are also on offer, perfect for friends and families. Cheltenham and Gloucester are easily accessible using the 24-hour bus service or an off-road road cycle path/footpath into both Cheltenham and Gloucester.

Spotlessly clean, pretty site. Very friendly lady in reception. Perfect location, a short bus ride from Cheltenham and Gloucester. Bus service is frequent and 24 hour. Perfect if you're looking for a small, adult-only site. It is close to a main road, so expect some traffic noise but nothing to worry about. We will definitely book again towards the summer as it is a great location to explore from. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay, the amenities were excellent and lovely and clean. We were greeted with a smile and everything was explained well. There are a couple of places to eat locally, but it's only a short bus ride to Cheltenham, where there are loads of shops, bars and restaurants.

First visit to this site, very spacious pitches and superb toilet/shower facilities. Brilliant bus service right outside the site, bit of traffic noise but overall a fantastic site.

We stayed here on the 12th Dec for 3 nights. Upon arrival (just off M5), a very friendly man in reception greeted us and showed us where the facilities were and how to get to our pitch. Facilities very clean and can not be faulted. Location is very good, bus stops outside site - no 94 bus takes you to Gloucester (20 mins) or Cheltenham (10 mins). Excellent shopping, dining and pubs in both. We would both highly recommend this site and will definitely book again.

The road noise was bad, we were not able to sleep well. Facilities clean.

Lovely site. Very easy access from the M5 and good public transport links into both Cheltenham and Gloucester. Some noise from the nearby A40 but didn’t really affect us.

From moment one, the place was brilliant, front desk are very friendly and explained everything well. Area was very nice and tidy, very quiet too despite being near a main road. The toilet facilities were incredibly clean. Overall, a fantastic experience and will definitely come back again!

Very easy to get to, at check-in in I was welcomed by a very friendly guy who told me the last time I had visited. Level well-kept pitches with drinking water nearby, and the toilet and shower block were heated with music. Bus stop right outside site. Overall, very impressed, will stay again.

Welcome stop after such a long time on the road

This is an ideal site for us when we want a bit of a stopover, though I can certainly understand why people stay longer. The site is well laid out and the facilities are ample and clean. The welcome was warm and genuine and it was great to have bus stops nearby and somewhere to eat out or have a drink. We will no doubt come again next year as we travel up to Scotland most years. Lovely place and well protected from a good bit of the noise of traffic.

We were particularly swayed to stay here because we thought it would be a tranquil site. First off, everything else about the site was good, save for that description. The staff were great and the facilities were great. The location was an issue for us. The site is surrounded by very busy, noisy roads. Unfortunately, we didn't manage to get good sleep on either night. To walk dogs was also an issue unless you are used to walking on very noisy, busy roads. Personally we wouldn't come again.

Glad you thought our staff and facilities are great; sorry to read that our location didn't suit you. Just to clarify that we don't have a dog walking area on our park at present. However, there is a pelican crossing directly outside the park and it's a 5 minute stroll along the brand new footpath/cycle path to the fields. Here you will find at least 50 acres of open fields which are fenced in and perfect for your 4 legged friends to enjoy a yomp around. It's always worth a little look on google maps prior to booking to ensure the location will suit your needs. Jo Sanderson

Nice park. However, due to the location, it was very noisy as it is next to busy roads. Having said that, the location is ideal for cycling from the site and walking to shops so it handy in that respect. Very friendly owners and facilities were clean. The site was also well kept. Overall I would give it a B as it is not the owner's fault regarding road noise. Will probably return in future and would recommend.

We are already looking forward to returning to Briarfields. We were very happy with our pitch (no.8) we were shaded in the morning and able to soak up the sun in the afternoons. The shower block and washing up area were exceptionally clean and the water was hot at all times. The location was perfect for accessing Cheltenham and Gloucester by bus, with the stops just outside the site. There is a fixed price of £2 for any single journey (at the time of writing) which is cheaper than buying a return and much easier than driving yourself. As other reviewers have said, there is some road noise and we were probably best placed to hear it, but it didn't bother us at all. After all, you can't be on the edge of a very large town and expect deep country silence. The site is near to Gloucester airport so expect light aircraft to over fly from time to time. Again, we didn't find this overly intrusive. Personally I liked watching the small planes flying over. There are a number of shops very close to the site, including an Asda superstore and an Aldi. I cycled to them on two days and it's just a few minutes, perhaps a ten to fifteen minute walk. This was handy for picking up fresh ingredients instead of bringing everything with us. The owners clearly work very hard to keep this site in great condition and were great with giving us instructions for a slightly late arrival. We are very happy customers!

Highly recommended! Great size pitch, clean and modern facilities and exceptionally peaceful. Great fish and chips that I understand are gluten free, a 7 minute drive away! Just what we needed!

This site was very convenient for Cheltenham, Gloucester and surrounding villages. It’s suburban location means that you don’t get the views but that’s not why we chose it. The staff were helpful. The facilities were good being well maintained and clean. Pitch was a good size with hedges either side. Would visit again
