About the site
Located across the road from Murton Farm, Tearoom and Nature Reserve, this adult only site is well positioned for scenic walks. For days out, Dundee and Montrose are within a 25 minute drive, along with popular sandy beaches and coastal trails. For tent campers, there are two grass pitches without electric. Caravans and campervans can also pitch up on 10m x 7m grass pitches, reach with a 16 amp electric hook up. If you would rather a more weather-proof hardstanding pitch, there are both 16 amp electric and fully serviced pitches with electric, water and grey waste drainage. These allow campervans, caravans and motorhomes. A range of shepherd's huts are great for those looking for a glamping getaway. Each comes fully furnished with a kitchen, including a sink, hob, fridge and cooking utensils. You will also have a private ensuite bathroom, along with heating and a smart TV. The regular huts have a fitted king size bed and a separate seating area, whilst Strathmore has a drop-down king-size bed that folds up to reveal a bench dining area. Bedding, linen and towels are all included. Outside, you will also have a patio area that includes a dining area and private fencing. The site is dog friendly, with up to two dogs permitted per pitch and pet friendly shepherd's hut. Evenings can be spent enjoying a meal at the onsite restaurant, with a delicious, locally sourced menu on offer Wednesday to Sunday. Or, if you would prefer to cook, raised BBQs are permitted.
