We had a great stay, enjoyed the peace and quiet. Lovely hosts, nothing to much trouble. Enjoyed every minute. Will go back many more times I hope. Hope to see you next year!
Site's response
We are glad that you enjoyed your short break with us at our small quiet and peaceful site, which is for adults only. Shropshire is an area where many people drive through to break their journeys initially and then they discover the spectacular scenery and find out all about what the area offers and then return year after year to explore more fully. There are miles of walking and cycling, plenty of castles, churches, National Trust and English Heritage properties to explore, Spectacular scenery and quaint market towns too. Thank you for taking the time to leave us such a nice review, it is much appreciated.

Well equipped and fantastically maintained, we had a great long weekend staying in one of the premier pods. A great base for exploring the many delightful villages of the Shropshire hills. Highly recommended, owners were really friendly and helpful. Hope to return sometime soon.
Site's response
Thank you so much for such a glowing review, we really do appreciate it. We are glad that you enjoyed your stay and are considering returning in the future. The premier glamping pods have a 4ft 6 bed with space to walk down each side, a slimline fridge, breakfast bar and bar stools inside and a chimenea and bistro set outside. We will soon be adding a pergola to the premier pods to offer some shade for those rare days when we see the sun. It is always fun to mooch / explore the small towns like Ludlow, Church Stretton, Clun, Ludlow, Bridgnorth, Much Wenlock and Ironbridge to name a few. There are several National Trust and English Heritage properties and miles of walking and cycling in the area too. Thank you again.

I've stayed here twice now for long weekends and it's a lovely clean site with friendly team members who are very helpful. The facilities are kept clean and the showers are great. Lovely walks in the area and local pub a couple of minutes walk from site. We took our Motorhome, met up with friends and as we were local we took our car to get around in so we could go further to do different walks. Worth a visit.
Site's response
We are glad that you enjoyed your second stay with us and thank you for your kind words re us and the facilities - they are appreciated. There are several walks that can be started direct from the site e.g. Flounders Folly, various walking routes avoiding walking on the B4368 into Craven Arms where several others can be joined up with including those detailed as starting from the Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre. Church Stretton, Long Mynd, Much Wenlock and Offa's Dyke also offer several fantastic walks through the glorious Shropshire Hills. There are several really nice pubs which serve food a short drive away. Thank you again for leaving us such a nice review.

Great facilities in a peaceful area. Showers, toilets and washing up areas were really clean and the whole site was spotless. Friendly and helpful site owners were on hand to give advice and information about the area.

Thank you for leaving us such a nice review. We are an ideal base to walk, cycle, sight see and discover the wonders and joys of the Shropshire Hills, with stunning scenery and the small market towns in them. Guests are of course welcome to just stay on site and rest and relax whilst listening the glorious bird song. We work hard to ensure our facilities and site are kept clean and well maintained so that our guests can relax and enjoy their break/holiday whilst with us. Brian and I are available to guests for most of the day and generally up until 9pm to answer any questions or help with any issues that may arise. If you have a question just ask - we are always happy to talk to our guests. Thank you for taking the time to leave us this review - it is much appreciated.

A perfect little spot. Honestly one of the best places we've stayed at. Lots of space, friendly and beautiful to boot. Great countryside around the Shropshire Hills too, so it's fantastic for walking, with stunning walks staring right from the site.
Site's response
The rolling Corvedale Hills provide a stunning backdrop to the site and ever changing living landscape which is beautiful whatever time of year one visits. There are both short and longer walks that can be taken direct from site - including joining up with some from the Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre - where you can watch a fantastic drone flight over the area. We are also just off route 44 for John O'Groats to Lands end, walkers and cyclist and can link into the Offa's Dyke walks. There is a lot to enjoy, discover and explore in the Shropshire Hills whether you like walking, cycling or just mooching. The site is midway between the medieval town of Ludlow with St Laurence's Church, Ludlow Castle, independent shops and Market some days, river and Mortimer Forest and Church Stretton / Long Mynd / Carding Mill Valley with a short walk to the reservoir, slightly longer walk to the waterfall and miles of walking and cycling through the stunning hills, You may even be lucky enough to encounter the gorgeous wild ponies / horses. Thank so much for taking the time to leave us such a great review - we do appreciate it.

The owner was a nice guy, took in a parcel delivery, sorted out a fire for us (£1 per night) and sold us some wood. Toilet block was spotless. Only gripe is that the ground was sloped, so for camping, this was not ideal. It's quite remote, nearest pub a few miles away. Ludlow, I think was 7 miles away.
Site's response
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We are a gently sloping site set in the rolling Corvedale Hills - as stated in all our advertising - but have generous size pitches that allow guests the opportunity to pitch their unit to counteract the slope and take advantage of the views. Whilst we are a rural site Craven Arms itself is less than 2 miles away and has 2 pubs, several takeaways, large independent supermarket and a mainline station. There are another 2 popular pubs within 5 miles. Go a bit further a field and you have:- Ludlow (approx.9 miles) a medieval town with a castle, river, forest, independent shops and eateries, brewery, supermarkets and pubs Clun with a castle (ruins) pubs and cafes Little Stretton with 2 popular pubs Church Stretton a small town with supermarket, pubs and eateries and The Long Mynd / Carding Mill Valley famous for walking and spectacular scenery. The glamping pods have their own individual chimenea but we have some chimeneas that we lent out to the touring pitches.
What a gem!

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review - it is much appreciated. We are a small rural site set in the rolling Corvedale Hills, midway between the beautiful medieval market town (castle, market, St Laurence's Church, river, Mortimer Forest) and Church Stretton with the spectacular Long Mynd and Carding Mill Valley. Nice site located not too far from Craven Arms. The site is adults only so it may not be for everyone. The facilities on site are good, with large shower units so there is enough space to get changed and keep your clean clothes dry. The washing up facilities are good and the local information provided is comprehensive. There are a mix of pitches both with and without electric hook ups. There was enough space to pitch without being right next to your neighbours, granting you some privacy.
Site's response
We are a small scenic retreat for adults only found in the beautiful Shropshire Hills which offer miles of walking, cycling and plenty to do, see, explore, discover and places to eat and drink. Thank you for great comments about our toilet & shower rooms being spacious. The showers have doors (which a lot of guests prefer) not curtains, which helps prevent spray thereby keeping clothes and shoes dry. We offer hardstanding pitches with 10amp electric hook up, drinking water tap and grey water waste drainage, Grass pitches with or without electric hook up, standard and premier glamping pods. We have a lot of mature and not quite so old trees on site that provide natural screening between some pitches and offer shade as well as being a haven for wildlife and a variety of small birds. Your great review is much appreciated and we thank you for taking the time to complete it.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review - it is much appreciated. We are glad that you enjoyed your stay at our adults only site set in the rolling Corvedale Hills. There is a small circular walk that be taken direct from the site and this can be used to link into several longer routes for those wishing to walk a bit further. We do have a small herb "garden" that guests can take a sprig / few leaves of to enhance their meals. We also encourage guests to recycle their glass, plastic, tins, paper, cardboard and food waste by having recycling crates that can be taken to the pitches / glamping pods.

The only downside was the poor internet connection. I will stay again if I'm in the area.
Site's response
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review - it is much appreciated. We are a quiet and peaceful site - particularly as we are adults only and an ideal place to rest, relax in the evenings. We are sorry that you experienced issues with the broadband / WI-FI whilst you were here. We are a rural site and do not have access to fibre broadband so are on a microwave system (bounced from masts on hills) and unfortunately we have noticed that this can be affected by the weather, particularly heavy rain. The weather has been very interesting / challenging over the last few weeks. That said, as the service is being disrupted more often than we would like, we have asked for a site visit from the internet company to review the service to the site, which will hopefully resolve this issue. We hope to see you again in the future if you are back in the area..

Had a lovely stay at this site. Fully serviced pitch with a lovely view and very peaceful. Excellent shower and toilet facilities with plenty of hot water and some full shower rooms, which is always a bonus. Owners around but not intrusive. Lots of recycling here, which is good. All in all, a very good stay, shame about the weather.
Site's response
We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us despite the "interesting" weather which we have no control of. Thank you for taking the time to leave us such a glowing review - it is much appreciated. As caravanners ourselves, I always preferred sites with showers and toilets in same room - I disliked going to one building to use the toilet, then go to another building to use the showers - hence our bathrooms having a shower, sink and toilet in them individually. There are separate toilets so the shower rooms do not get clogged up. We are keen to be kind to our environment and encourage the recycling of glass, tins, plastic, cardboard, paper and food waste.

This was our first camping trip as adults in our own tent and we had the best experience. The site is so quiet and peaceful. Greenway is beautifully maintained and managed, making our stay just perfect. It's the little things that make such a big difference and we had a friendly, helpful and informative greeting with Jane and Brian offering us lots of support should we have needed it during our stay. We are not only going camping again but intend to make our next trip back to Greenway.

Very clean, well maintained site with very spacious pitches. Our main issue was location as this site is next to a busy main road which liked to be used as a race track by motorbikes. The owners were very pleasant and ensure the site is kept immaculate and are willing to help in any way they can. This is a site I will be using in the future.
Site's response
We are glad that you enjoyed your stay and liked the spacious pitches. We do try to ensure that guests have space to pitch their tent or caravan or park their campervan / motorhome to take advantage of the views and counteract the gentle slope and still have space around them. The B4368 can be a very quiet road but can be noisy if it is being used as a diversion route for the A49 or by tractors during harvesting time. Motorbikes will often use this road particularly on a Sunday morning on their way through to Wales, Ludlow or Shrewsbury and again Sunday early evening on their return journey. The number of motorbikes using it as a " link" road is dependent on the weather and what is going on in the area at any particular time. We are pleased that you are likely to come and stay with us again in the future and look forward to seeing you. Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, it is much appreciated.

Last minute decision to camp. Great place, very friendly owners, super clean facilities, quiet.... not far from Craven Arms which has a convenience shop, fish & chips shop and a great Indian restaurant. I will definitely return to this campsite and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet time.

Thank you for choosing to camp with us and for your review and recommendation - they are much appreciated. Being an adults only site we are a quiet and peaceful site where guests can sit and relax and listen to a variety of birdsong. Craven Arms is a functional town approx 1.8 miles from us and there are plenty of cafes and a couple of pubs as well as the Indian, fish and chip shop and a Chinese takeaway. Between them and Tuffins independent supermarket one is unlikely to go hungry.

A pleasant green site near good walks in the Shropshire hills, quaint towns like Ludlow and lots of castles. The site has very clean loos and showers (good size), nice touches like washing up liquid by the big sinks and fresh herbs to pick. Site owners friendly and helpful without being obtrusive.

This is one of the nicest campsites we've been to. Lots of nice little touches and the facilities were very clean. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. We'll definitely be back.

We are a small independent site that aims to provide guests with a relaxing well spaced/resourced environment so that they can relax and unwind and enjoy what the beautiful Shropshire Hills have to offer, whatever the weather. We are an ideal base to explore/mooch around the many quaint historic market towns like Ludlow, castles, buildings, whilst enjoying the spectacular, and at times dramatic, scenery provided by the hills especially at Carding Mill Valley. The herbs have proved a very big hit this year and we are pleased to see that more guests are using the recycling containers. Thank you for your 5 star review and recommendation - we really do appreciate it and hope to see you again in the future.

Really enjoyed the August Bank Holiday weekend. Nice area, walked up to Founders Folly, which I recommend. Plenty of washing up areas, rent a chimnea, peaceful. Would return for sure.
Site's response
Flounders Folly is a lovely walk (takes about 50 mins each way) and if you have the opportunity to climb to the top of the tower, the views are even more magnificent than at the base of the tower. We keep a small number of chimeneas that can be loaned out to the touring pitches - it is magical sat round a fire watching it get dark and the stars popping out - the fire also provides warmth now the evenings are drawing in and cooling off. The glamping pods have their own chimeneas outside. We are in an area of low light pollution so we see many starry skies and a lot of shooting stars. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you again in the future. Thank you for taking the time to leave us such a nice review, it is much appreciated.

Great little park - didn't use the facilities much as have own washing facilities in the caravan. Really well placed for local sites and a short, 25 minute drive to Shrewsbury. Definitely would go again and definitely recommend!
Site's response
Thank you for your review and recommendation - they are much appreciated. Our toilet block consists of 4 individual bathrooms - 3 shower, toilet and sink, 1 shower and sink and we also have 5 individual toilets all accessed from outside and if the door is locked it means someone is already in there. The hairdryer and razor point are at the back of the toilet block so as not to clog up the bathrooms. We also have 4 washing up sinks and a freezer for ice blocks. We are situated mid way between the beautiful historic market town of Ludlow with a castle, museum, river, Mortimer Forest, independent eateries and shops and of course a market several days a week and Church Stretton with Carding Mill Valley and the long Mynd with its spectacular views, wild ponies and sheep and babbling brooks/streams. There are miles of walking and cycling as well as many places to visit and experience like Much Wenlock, Bridgnorth, Ironbridge and its associated museums, which include Blist Hill Victorian Town.

Nice campsite with good pitches and facilities. Nice town nearby with fish and chips and Tuffins - a great independent supermarket. Although voices could be heard in the early hours, the site was peaceful and overall we had a nice stay.
Site's response
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, it is much appreciated. Tuffins supermarket is 1.8 miles away from us and stocks virtually anything you could possibly need - with food, drinks, pets, household, homeware, freezers, plastics, pound aisles, magazines, bakery, butchers and garden sections. Craven Arms has an Indian and Chinese takeaway as well as the fish and chip shop. We are a rural site and noise, even just 2 people talking, can carry at night. There were several small family groups on this weekend who sat out talking quietly whilst waiting to see the meteor showers predicted for midnight. We do monitor noise levels and request people keep the noise to a minimum after 11pm and make guests aware how sound carries. We are an area of low light pollution so the stars can be magnificent with many being lucky enough to see shooting stars.

We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay and the walks in the area. Craven Arms is a functional town with it's large independent supermarket, mainline train station, take aways, cafés and couple of pubs. It is not a pretty moochable market town like Ludlow but it does have the Discovery Centre with 30 acres of meadows, café and small exhibition including a short film of a drone flight over the area and the beautiful Stokesay Castle (English Heritage property) We are equal distance between Ludlow a beautiful historic medieval town with a castle, St Laurence's Church, market days, independent shops and eateries', brewery, river and Mortimer Forest and Church Stretton and carding Mill Valley / Long Mynd.
