Site with a view

A most wonderful stay here, and we have stayed at many a campsite. A fabulous position with lots of options of sites - elevated sea view, valley river, field, really well priced. Facilities were plentiful and spotless. Loved the fact that the shower block included cubicles with toilet, sink and shower, plenty of hooks and a stool to sit on …a lot of campsites could learn from your shower block. On site shop, bar and food. Awesome… well done 😎

Lovely site

Excellent site with bar, and restaurant facilities. Lovely pitch and surrounded by nature. Very clean and tidy. Beautiful setting.

Great last minute trip

Great 2 day stay

Plots are plentiful and large. Toilet and shower areas spotless. Food and bar available on site by independent sellers with theme nights. Close to bus stops and walking trails.

Fantastic site

We really enjoyed our stay at Watermouth Valley. The site is quite big, with excellent facilities and varied pitches. We managed to secure a pitch with a Seaview which was beautiful. The staff are very friendly and hardworking and the showers, toilets and all the amenities are very clean and are always well stocked and in working order. They have very good recycling ♻️ facilities as well as a laundry room and pot washing room. The site also have food on most nights with pizza nights fish and chips nights and Mexican and curry nights, they also provide a little pub and one night had a duo singing and playing guitars. The coast path goes through the site on which you can walk to Combe Martin one way and Hele and Ilfracombe in the opposite direction. They have a camp shop with the basics if needed. Altogether a fantastic site 👌 thanks to the family that own and run it 👍

Great site

A lovely friendly site with a bus running to Combe Martin and Ilfracombe right outside. This is our second visit to the site as we were so impressed when we stayed in May. The facilities are very clean and all the campers were happy. Fabulous food at the weekends and some days in the week and a little bar and covered tv area - what more could you want from a site?

Pleasant site

Lovely clean facilities. Pleasant, helpful owners, great food nights and lovely bar. Scenery beautiful 😍 Downside, next to a noisy road.

Lovely well cared for site

We had a super 5 night stay. Staff all very helpful and polite. Lovely enclosed dog field. Lovely hot showers all very clean. Food on the 2 nights I ate in was excellent with good servings. Bar on site well stocked. All staff everywhere nice and friendly.

Lovely site

Amazing, love this site. We have been camping for over 40 years and it's one of the best.

Lovely site with great views

Lovely site. We think we had one of the best pitches overlooking the ocean. Friendly staff. Lovely little bar & outside drinking area. Each evening offering a different takeaway menu. Sawmills pub within easy walking distance. Only thing negative was long walk to toilets & shower block from our pitch.

Peaceful, beautiful and really clean facilities!

The staff were so friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate us. The site is just perfect and has everything you need. We wish we stayed longer!

Locals visit

We live locally but had relatives staying there so booked a last minute pitch. The weather turned awful on the Friday so didn't actually pitch up until Saturday morning. The staff were very accommodating with our requests. It is a really lovely site. Clean facilities, friendly staff, well kept pitches.

Wonderful place to camp

This was our second visit to watermouth valley. The staff are fantastic and went the extra mile to accommodate us. The facilities are spotless and plentiful. The site is well kept with a variety of pitches which are all well spaced. Within walking distance of a good pub although a good variety of food available on site. We are returning next month.

Immaculately clean friendly campsite

The owners of this campsite go the extra mile in so many ways. The campsite is incredibly clean, which is difficult when it's such a busy place. There are very good play facilities for children and animals to look at. There is a very popular takeaway with different choices each night and a little bar. It's possible to buy drinks and pastries during the day. The staff are all very welcoming. There is a pub which can be reached easily by walking through the campsite. The camping places at the top of the hill have stunning views but are a steep walk from the toilets. Those at the bottom of the field are well laid out camping places, many surrounded by pretty hedges and trees for extra privacy. However, those are not only close to the facilities, they are also close to the road so the noise of traffic is very audible most of the time but luckily, not much later in the evening - until about 7 or so. That is the only downside of this lovely campsite.

Exceeded expectations

This was our first camping trip and we absolutely loved it! We had our tent on the seafront and had a spectacular view. Located directly on the coastal path we had a lovely few walks with the dog which everyone enjoyed. The landscape was beautiful and was so well looked after too. Facilities were as expected, clean toilet/shower blocks. Sadly they were a little walk away from our tent down a hill which meant the walk back to the tent was all uphill - a closer toilet block would have been appreciated. Food and drinks on site were nice, staff were very pleasant. I'd definitely visit again!

Lovely family run campsite, with friendly staff. Great pitches and facilities. Bar and takeaway hut served great food and drink.

Fabulous campsite!

Superb campsite which exceeded our expectations. Large and well-tended pitches with a cosy feel. Excellent facilities to suit all ages. Extremely professional reception staff who could answer any question. Very highly recommended, we will be back!

Fantastic stay!

Great location, friendly staff (very accommodating), well priced shop, everything you need and absolutely fantastic curry on Friday evenings. We will be back.

Excellent place to stay! Very clean and tidy, staff were very helpful and pleasant, booked again to go back in August!
