Lovely family run campsite
Medium Tent - Ocean View Non Electric Grass Pitches (Allocated) Sep 2023 This is the second time we've stayed at this lovely family run campsite. The staff are friendly and very helpful :)
Well presented pitches and spotlessly clean toilet and showers. A tip, if you have a pitch in the sea view section, then it is a walk down hill to the nearest toilet. However this makes this section lovely and quiet.
There's laundry facilities onsite and den for the kids to play snooker etc and watch TV. The park is big with lots to climb and play on, some apparatus look like they need a little refurbishing.
Food onsite was yummy and really convenient. The cakes looked especially delicious!
Short walk to the Watermouth Harbour, castle, Sawmill pub and Storm in a Teacup cafe. Beautiful cove a short, but steep walk away.
Overall a lovely holiday destination and we're looking forward to coming back!

VW-Type Campervan - Valley Non Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2023 Just an amazing place. Highly recommend the unallocated pitches with the sea view. Just incredible. Food options are great, we had curry night on the Friday and pizza on the Saturday. Vegan and Vegetarian friendly.
Ocean views are amazing, as well as the star visibility. A truly magical experience!

Medium Tent - Valley Non Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2023 Lovely campsite, a superb location for hiking and swimming. Drove from London and didn't need to move the car for three days as everything was there - including pubs!
Rebooked for next year. Lovely family running the site too.

Overall good
VW-Type Campervan - Ocean View Non Electric Grass Pitches (Open Plan) Aug 2023 We had a beautiful view over the campsite and of the sea as we were up in the open plan area, however, this is a steep hill which was hard to find a flat surface on and affected our sleep as kept sliding down.
The facilities are all at the bottom of the hill, which was excellent exercise, but might be an issue for those less mobile. There could be more toilets without showers in them.
Love that there is a food hut on site if you didn't want to cook, with really nice looking food and that there are some activities if you had children.
The dog exercise area was great and very near us and any park that caters for dogs is good for us.
We would consider this again, but maybe off season where there might be a flatter bit.
It seemed very chilled and it was a real bonus that they were set up for late arrivals, we just picked up a map with our name on it from the reception. This was very easy, thanks.
