Loved it, would’ve stayed longer
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2026 Great campsite close to the RSPB reserve at Bempton.
The single lane track up to the site is fairly long and very rough, it almost shuck our old van to bits! Electric grass pitches are very large with good sea views, the site felt spacious. The site openly advertises no shower facilities which is a real shame as in the summer months that makes stopping multiple nights difficult. I would have happily stopped here for several nights as it is a great place to unwind. There are only 2 toilets each for male and female, although there is another (new?) block that was out of use, which is a bit tight for the numbers there.
There is a track through the fields to the cliffs if birding is your thing. We saw more puffins near to the site (and a barn owl) than at the Bempton reserve. Would recommend.
Lovely peaceful site
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2026 Lovely peaceful site. If you get the right pitch you have a sea view. Toilets are extremely clean. Lovely walks to the cliffs to see the puffins. Owners are Lovely. We were entertained by the herding of the sheep. Would return.
Lovely campsite
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2026 This is a really lovely campsite in a beautiful location. It’s clearly signposted which I always appreciate and the owners are very friendly and helpful. I stayed here purely for the path to Bemptom Cliffs and it was a greatly appreciated shortcut to the public route.
My only quibble really was the toilets. If you’re staying in the second field it’s a long walk and there are only two ladies toilets (can’t comment on the men’s). It’s quite a big site, so at busy times you need to wait to use them. There’s very little privacy in them and I think they could benefit from more frequent cleaning.

Excellent relaxing stay
Single Axle Caravan - Electric Grass Pitches May 2026 We loved our stay. We were aware that there were no showers and that facilities were basic but adequate. We found that expectations were set well in advance and the facilities onsite were clean, well maintained and they fully met our needs.
It’s a quite site and the people that we met, enjoyed walking in the outdoors and looking at the wildlife in the area.
Good access to cliff top walks, with fantastic views.

Good location
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches May 2026 Good location to get to the coast and cliffs to see the numerous birds.
The puffins were scarce and I'm told this is usual now at this location unfortunately and worryingly. I have given 4 stars as only 1 toilet block was open and was insufficient for the number of guests that were there.
Otherwise, a good site with a very helpful young man in the office.

Great location for visiting the cliffs and nearby North Landing.
Clean site. Nice and quiet when we stayed this time.
Plenty of space in puffin meadow for those not needing addition power. We stayed up in the far corner with great views and the added bonus of the new lambs.

Roof Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Apr 2026 Chilled campsite with lovely hosts. You can tell they care about their place. Basic facilities which are well explained before coming. Absolutely brilliant walk to the cliff, very special location and thrilled to use the private track over the top. Lambs were adorable!
Farm stay with chance of puffins
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Apr 2026 We stayed with hope of seeing the puffins. We didn’t think we had seen any then looked at a video taken and found that we had found one. The site is surrounded by fields of sheep and lambs which was lovely. Check in couldn’t be easier, we were told that we could park up wherever we wanted. Toilets and the washing up area were clean and there were plenty of fresh water taps about the site. I would be happy to stay again.

Motorhome - Electric Grass Pitches Apr 2026 We were greeted by a lovely gentleman. A map of the site and where to walk for the local attractions The views were beautiful. The lambs were very entertaining. A walk over the cliff to see the puffins. Cycled to Flamborough light house and saw puffins and seals then cycled to south landing and saw deer. The most magical 4 days away. We will be back.

Motorhome - Electric Grass Pitches Apr 2026 Lovely stay, beautiful views over fields to sea in distance, didn't use toilets, no showers but knew prior to visit, easy access to private path to cliff top walk which went both ways to RSPB viewing platform (about 15/20 mins walk) or towards Flamborough lighthouse and beyond.

Perfect
Motorhome - Electric Grass Pitches Oct 2025 It has to be the quietest site we've ever stopped at. The gentleman that owns the farm and site was there to show us where the facilities were and offered us our choice of pitches.
The ground was soft, which was a worry I had because my motorhome gets bogged down at the drop of a hat, but we still managed to reverse into and drive out of our pitch.
We had three or four walks from the site including a walk down to the pubs in Flamborough (approx 30 mins).
Yes the amenities are basic on site but that is said in the site information. Even so they were fine for us.
I have to say that the best thing about the site is it's location. We had a great view across the fields to the lighthouses and Bridlington bay. Access to the cliffs is up a short track and across the owners field.
We'll definitely be coming back, for us it was perfect.

Gem of a site
Motorhome - Electric Grass Pitches Oct 2025 Peace and quiet, dark skies too. Friendly owner met me at the entrance and explained where things were. Any problems or advice just go back to them and ask.
Private footpath direct to the cliffs. Wildlife everywhere, birds and especially dolphins if you are lucky enough to spot them as the pass. If you want wildlife, RSPB Bempton cliffs one way, and the fantastic walk to Flamborough head along the cliff tops. Great food at cafe by the lighthouse. All you need is the weather to do it's bit.

A nice walks to the cliffs, surrounded by nature and farms.
Great, but basic site
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2025 Great location, farm track up to the site was a bit ropey. Great sea view from almost every pitch.
Lovely walks, to see the birds on the cliffs or the beaches, well within 1/2 hour. I hadn't realised upon booking that there were no showers at the site, but it was made very clear in the confirmation email and was offered a refund if this was a problem.
It could have been an issue if we were staying more than 1 night, but we're happy with this. Good check in (from 1pm) and check out (before 12) times.
All in all we will definitely return, but will make sure we're at the right time of year to see the puffins🙂
Great site and wonderful staff
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2025 This place and the people are amazing! We pitched up in the top left corner and we were not disappointed by the view.
The hosts were amazing, very knowledgeable and extremely kind and friendly.
No showers, as stated, but the toilet blocks were very clean and tidy. Plenty of facilities for what you need for camping.
Will 100% be returning.

Fabulous site
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 We had a brilliant two night stay here on a cliff top pitch with a sea view and we were really impressed.
The owner contacted us after booking to remind us that there are no showers on site and gave us the opportunity to cancel the booking if we weren't aware of that. It wasn't a problem for us and I'm happy we decided to go ahead.
The site is lovely and peaceful and the views are spectacular. It was convenient to explore the local area and lovely to come back to after a day exploring.
The facilities were clean and well maintained. The water in the pot wash area was hot and plentiful. There was loads of space and we chose our own pitch. There were children staying further up on the top field and they had lots of space to run and play.
An excellent find and we can't wait to go back.
