The Old Stables Campsite is located in South West Cornwall, just five minutes from Gwithian Beach, a popular spot with surfers. A great family-friendly site with large spacious camping and touring pitches (some with electric), plus camping pods and shepherd's huts. The site offers modern facilities, fire pits for hire and a wetsuit rinse. St Ives is also only 20 minutes away, perfect for days out!

Medium Tent - Electric Grass PitchesMay 2023

Absolutely fantastic stay. The site owners are so friendly and helpful. The improvements since our last stay are incredible. The toilets and showers are so very well maintained at all times, clean and tidy. The washing up area, the availability to freeze your ice packs and the donation area for non-perishables. It was great to have the electric hook up this time. Given it was fairly busy, the site was very peaceful. The location is great for us as I have friends who are local and we were within easy reach of the fabulous Cornish coastline beaches. Ooh, and the added bonus of the on-site breakfast van and visiting pizza van! Just superb. Thank you Jayne and Mike, we look forward to a return visit.

Spacious level pitches, immaculate facilities, excellent location for St Ives & St Michael's Mount. And, most of all, really helpful, friendly owners! (Did I mention the fab homemade cakes too?!)
