Whether you're exploring the Dales or the Lakes, Little Acre Camping is ideal - only a 15 minute drive from both. Relax in the tent here and take the pooch for a stroll by the peaceful Lancaster Canal (just adjacent to site) or hop on a bus to Kendal or Kirkby Lonsdale (both 15 minutes away). Just across the road, is the popular dog friendly Crooklands Hotel, with a bar and very good food served all day. The site is for adults (16+) only!

Medium Tent - Electric Grass Tent PitchesMay 2023

We were a little worried with it being so close to the motorway but need not have worried, it was just a faint background noise definitely hidden by the bird song. A lovely little campsite, really friendly host with nothing too much trouble. Lovely walk along the canal and the pub just across the road with great food. Some lovely little touches by Susan such as a nail file in the toilets for when you broke a nail putting the tent up, poo bags and dog treats. We will definitely be back!!
