Large A-class or Tag Axle Motorhome - Electric Grass PitchesJul 2026

Great campsite, great location. A short 20 minute walk into Brixham (though it is a steep walk), short walk the other direction and you're on the coastal path with access to the beach near done very steep steps, or along the path to Berry Head lighthouse and then onwards to Shoalstone Pool and Brixham. Didn't try the bar, but it always seemed lively, with love music a couple of times a week. Breakfast at the on-site café was good and reasonably priced. Nice outdoor kids play area. Easy access to a short circular dog walk (about 10-15 minutes), just the right length for dogs to do their business. Showers and toilets were fine, though toilets can get a bit dirty later at night or first thing in the morning when the site is full. The three negative points are that the bins seemed to be permanently overflowing - they either need more bins or a more regular emptying schedule. Secondly, the motorhome waste emptying/water refill is in the end space of a row of parking spaces, but if the one next to it is occupied, then all bit the smallest motorhome would struggle to get in. Third, the speed bumps are way too big - we caught our self levelling on one of them and heard other vehicles banging into them. Minor nitpicks really as overall it was great and we will be back. Staff are really friendly. We will be going back. Highly recommended.

Medium Tent - Electric Grass PitchesJul 2026

Lovely little campsite, toilets and showers were clean and tidy, staff were lovely and helpful. Great location if you like coastal walks but they are very steep in places and have a lot of stairs going up and down, so be sure to pack sensible shoes and a water bottle. We only stayed 2 nights but would definitely book again. I think I may have left some tent pegs behind, as not all mine aren't accounted for 🤦🏻‍♀️😂

Motorhome - Electric Grass PitchesJul 2026

Nice site. Facilities are clean. Showers could do with a shelf to put shower gels, shampoos on - had to keep them on the floor, otherwise fine. Could do with information on pub & snack shack opening times on the information sheet.

Single Axle Caravan - Electric Grass PitchesJul 2026

Having visited the site some 4 years previous, we did notice that there had been significant changes, notably the bar and snack bar (neither open during our stay) and a much busier turnover. Unfortunately, I feel that this increase in utilization, much of which appeared to be from seasonal/permanent users, did impact the feel of the site and it didn't feel quite as welcoming as previously experienced. That said, we did have a pleasurable stay there, making good use of local facilities (bars, eateries etc.) Also, I must compliment the site for it's services, such at drinking water provision, we were fortunate enough to have a tap on our pitch. Although, the disposal of waste did involve quite a walk.

VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass PitchesJun 2026

Very expensive. No soap in washrooms. Late opening of reception. No plug in washrooms. Push showered vet annoying. We liked the location and field. Well looked after grass. Friendly bar.

Site's response

Thank you for your feedback. I think you will find that our prices are very competitive for the area. Reception is open from 08.30 to 16.30 Tues to Sat, and from 09.00 to 17.00 on a Sunday & Monday.

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesJun 2026

Highly recommend as we had a wonderful 3 nights there. Ben 'the Warden' was a godsend: he gave us some valuable local info that added to our most enjoyable time here, and he's also a great guy to settle you in & orientate you to the site facilities. While the location of the site is perfect. It's ideally situated for Torquay, Paignton via #12 bus (if you don't want to use your car). & for Dartmouth via #18 bus. Brixham is a short & enjoyable 15-20 min leisurely walk. And the South Coastal Walking route is on its doorstep. We can also confirm the squeaky cleanliness of all the facilities. As an early riser the showers & loos were as clean then as at any time of the day when we used them. The site was also rubbish free (with not even a single escaped wrapper to be seen blowing about in the wind). The maintenance & grounds were well kept, the pitches are spacious, & everything worked perfectly. So, would definitely return as also great value for money. And Bill 'the warden' too was also a lovely friendly guy 👌

Best Campsite in Brixham!

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesJun 2026

Amazing campsite, very friendly and helpful staff. Big thank-you to Billy and team, who went above and beyond to make our stay the best. The shepherd's hut are a must to stay in, top of the range and heaven! The facilities, bar, cafe ,entertainment, brilliant! We are going back and truly believe we have found our Dream campsite, cant wait to return, our new dream destination. For tent campers, the lawn and peace now quite is s haven.

Large A-class or Tag Axle Motorhome - Electric Grass PitchesJun 2026

We are new to motorhoming and booked Wall Park for 2 nights. Easy to find, the pitch we stayed on was level, toilets and showers spotless, even got a beer tent with entertainment. Highly recommended. Massive thank you again to Bill from reception. Very friendly and extremely helpful. See you again soon.

Motorhome - Electric Grass PitchesJun 2026

1st time at this camp which was a nice kept site. Unfortunately, the weather while we were there was horrendous. so had to spend most of our stay in our motorhome. I will add that the camp is not very well lit at night The site doesn't allow ball games so wouldn't recommend this site for families. The play area for children is very poorly equipped.

Site's response

Thank you for your review. You are correct that the site isn't particularly well lit at night. This is due to restrictions from the council as we are on the flightpath of Greater Horseshoe Bats. We do not allow ball games on site, as people with very expensive motorhomes take exception to footballs & rugby balls hitting their homes. There is a rugby field & play park less than 5 minutes away.
