Fantastic location & facilities
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2026 Great location with gorgeous views of countryside and sea; easy access to the coastal path.
Good sized pitches with excellent facilities, including multiple water and waste disposal points. Would definitely recommend!
Fabulous site
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2026 We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay at Rosewall. We loved the fact that you can pitch wherever you like with no marked pitches and also the early arrival and lunchtime departure were great.
Not to mention the outstanding views!
Everywhere was immaculate and very welcoming.
We will definitely be returning!

Great camping site, Value for Money
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Apr 2026 We only stayed one night and just out of season so the shop was not open as long as I assume it would during high season and not fully stocked up but had the basics.
The staff where very pleasant.
The overall site was well groomed and maintained.
The toilets and shower where very clean and hot water on demand after a couple of pushes on the shower button or hot tap just like home lol.
Overall a very nice site and we would recommend and defiantly plan to revisit in the future.

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2025 i dropped the facilities down to a four as the showers took ages to get hot water and there wasn't much pressure - was like standing under a watering can! The site was amazing though and the staff were lovely

Fabulous campsite
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2025 My friends and I spent a fabulous four day break at Rosewall, the location of the site is gorgeous and the facilities were very accessible, extremely clean and well maintained.
There was plenty to keep us entertained within walking distance and we had a lovely view of the sea and also managed to see some of the lunar eclipse! I would definitely recommend this site!

A lovely campsite but aggressive staff member
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 A lovely campsite but we were a little upset by a staff member being unnecessarily aggressive towards us in front of a little girl in our party.
He was asking us to put a lead on our dog and this should have been done in a nicer/politer way.

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 Really good value! A great location, excellent facilities (although some form of shower curtain in the lower showers would be appreciated!)
Shop sold the basics, including gas canisters, no firewood though (leading to a group near us foraging in the woods and trying to burn green wood).
Overall, a place we would certainly look at returning to, and leaps beyond some sites!

Roof Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 Great stay with friends over the bank holiday.
Lovely, relaxed site, so quiet in the evenings with everyone respecting the 11pm volume off rule. Shop was very reasonable which was very surprising given that most places hike up the prices in on site shops - really appreciated!
Toilets were clean when people helped by not smothering them in grass but regularly kept clean. Smugglers Inn pub just down the road by the beach is great and the Osmington Country Club offering public access to their bar/lovely beer garden and pool room.
Made a nice change of scenery.
Relaxing campsite
Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 A lovely relaxing campsite that's well stocked, info room, very clean toilets and showers and a lovely park for the kids. A warden onsite.
And food vans that sell amazing doughnuts and pizza night, hog roast burgers etc and breakfasts too!
Bank holiday weekend stay
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 Mobile data reception not very good. Bank holiday weekend was like being in central London complete with dogs baking right outside the tent at 6am.
Beautiful veiws
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 The campsite is situated with beautiful views. It close to Weymouth and close to enough to shops and fish 'n' chip takeaways.
The main bug bare, is there is no phone signal or Wi-Fi, it seems to be in a dead spot. The toilets and showers are kept clean, as are the washing facilities. There are also plenty of recycling and rubbish points, which were emptied on a regular basis.
My only other complaint, but not the campsites fault, was the annoying shrews that kept on playing under my tent all night, causing lack of sleep. Overall, a great campsite for families, couples or lone campers.

Motorhome - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 Lovely few days with the grandchildren (13 annd 12) exploring the area with access to the coast path and local buses between Weymouth and Lulworth Cove.
I would definitely consider returning for the walking.
Pleasant stay
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 Had pleasant stay.
Value for money. Has a small shop. No toilet and shower queues, very quiet. No loud music or late night noisy parties during stay. Fellow campers were kind, respectful and helpful. Dogs were kept on leash by owners and area where I stayed was reasonably clean with accessible rubbish bins and water tap.
Will want to return for next holiday to further explore town and area and engage in health promoting activities.
Perhaps, should have a notice with information on checking in outside closed shop to help campers who just arrived late.

Small park available for kids, toilets/showers neat and clean. Good family experience.
Pitch with a view
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 What a view! We were lucky with the weather and the stunning view down to the sea from our pitch was breath-taking. We just chilled and watched the changing panorama. Everything was as it should be - decent plentiful facilities, helpful staff and larger than average pitch size (although not marked out, so it was up to individual campers to observe the 6m rule). The site was obviously great for kids with a playground and plenty of space for games, and the pebbly beach by the Smugglers Inn just a short stroll down the hill (bit trickier on the way back up after dinner at the pub!). We also enjoyed the pizza van on Thursday night.

Roof Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 A small bay, my set up meant no vehicle, a few days was very pleasant, lower showers had no way of take in dry clothing, top showers had more room, over all would stay again.
