About the site

Glamping pods set where Shakespeare's Macbeth is said to have met the three witches who told of his rise to become king, but also of his coming death. It's within an hour of lots of great distilleries, only a short drive from beaches and dolphin spotting along the coast. Cruises and Nessie-spotting at Loch Ness are within a 45 minute drive. There are five ensuite pods here, each sleeping four people with a double bed, single bed and pull out bed included. Each pod's kitchen area is kitted out with a two ring hob, fridge, pots, pans, crockery, cutlery and glasses. They have electric heaters so you will be comfortable in them all year round.

A note from the site themselves...

First off, let me introduce the team. There's George, who used to be away from home for long stretches, but now he's back with us, taking care of all the day-to-day stuff. Then there's me, Karen, the brains behind Macbeth Bookkeeping Solutions trying to keep everything running smoothly.

Arran, well, he's the tech wizard of the family, always making sure everything's shipshape on the computer front. And last but not least, we've got Luke, who's all about our furry and feathered friends.

Speaking of animals, we've got some land set aside for our four-legged and feathered pals. You'll find a bunch of hens clucking around, some friendly sheep that might just fancy a little scratch behind the ears, and occasionally, some cute piggy faces. When spring rolls around, our hillock comes alive with playful lambs leaping around - it's a real sight to see.

We've also set up a special area with trees and wild grass to create a cosy little habitat for wildlife. So, if you're a nature enthusiast, you're in for a treat. We can't wait to welcome you here for your camping adventure. See you soon!
