Braunton Sands Campsite Reviews

Peaceful and welcoming

Lovely, clean, campsite, with large pitch. Dog friendly and campers were all friendly, respectful of others. Owners maintain the site - attending twice daily to ensure campers are happy and amenities are clean and well stocked. Showers are warm and spacious - no pushing buttons to keep it on. Next to the cricket club, which was very British and enjoyable to watch. The beach is a fair walk away, but worth it once you reach Braunton Sands. Lush long sandy beach. Travelled by bus to Croyde, again another lovely beach and we found a rock pool area for wild swimming - brilliant! Definitely will go back again, had a fab time.

4 night stay

A very well tended small site next to the cricket club. Four matches of entertainment while we were there. Great hot showers at no extra cost. Conveniently located within a few minutes walk of a Tesco supermarket and the Braunton shops.Most people will need to catch the bus or drive to the beach.Thank you Alan (site manager) for making our stay so great.

Lovely site, friendly and helpful management

We had a great stay at Braunton, helpful and friendly staff and a handy position for shops/pubs/restaurants.

Great value half term stay with campervan

Alan's site is immaculate and for what you pay, it is exceptional value for money. Whilst the facilities are basic, they are very clean. Location is ideal for quick access into Braunton and Staunton Sands is only a five minute drive away. Pitches are very flat, drains well and half of them have electric hook up. Makes visiting with a camper very easy.
