Clear filters Nice campsite
Large Tent - Fully Serviced Grass Pitches Aug 2022 Nice site with wide areas.
However, we were not aware of the coffee shop or shop until we opened their website - the day before we were leaving! There was no signage and we didn't see a single member of staff, so this information wasn't relayed to us.
The facilities are good and clean but it would have been nice to have seen a member of staff!

Thank you for your review, Rachel - and for mentioning the size of the pitches and the facilities being good and clean.
With reference to your other comments, we do have a very large sign outside of the main facilities building showing 'Reception & Shop' and a swing sign showing when the shop is open or closed - we have up to 6 staff on site all day everyday maintaining the facilities, keeping the grass and hedges trimmed, the toilets cleaned and refreshed and manning the shop and reception - some days the shop and reception are open until 11pm.
We are sorry that you didn't locate the shop and reception, as all of this information was included in your 'self check-in/information email' so that you were able to drive directly to your pitch and then explore at your leisure.
We do hope that you will return in the future and will benefit from all of the facilities we have to offer. The Hill Cottage Farm Team.
Summer Holiday
Medium Tent - Fully Serviced Grass Pitches Aug 2022 Small site, family orientated and dog friendly, very nice people. Facilities are cleaned regularly. The pitch was big easy to set up and parking the car. 30 minutes to the beaches, easy access. Nice and green area and quiet.
Highly recommended.

A lovely campsite!
Single Axle Caravan - Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Aug 2022 This was our first experience in our new caravan. The site was clean and the staff were friendly. The woodland walk was great and my dog and children really enjoyed it there. The only thing I'd suggest as a possible improvement is that the play area could be bigger. There is limited equipment and quite often my children didn't get a turn. A few more items in the park would have made the whole experience perfect.

Caravan holiday
Single Axle Caravan - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2022 Nice big pitches so you don't feel on top of each other. Good clean facilities, play area was well used and staff we saw were very helpful.

Lovely site
Single Axle Caravan - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2022 Has everything you need for a stay in the New Forest. So clean and well maintained. It was a joy to stay there. Would highly recommend.

An excellent site
Twin Axle Caravan - Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Aug 2022 Site was well maintained and had up to date facilities. Toilets were clean and showers were good with constant hot water. The staff were friendly, polite and very helpful.
The site was in a location within 2 mins drive of Fordingbridge and it has a lovely river where you can paddle in. It was 5 mins drive from New Forest and all surrounding towns are within 30 to 40 mins drive so excellent location. The small shop on site did basics but was a nice addition to the site. This often stayed open until 11pm at night. Plenty of walks around the area. On site, there was an information room with leaflets on things to do in the area as well as printouts of walks and cycle rides.
We will definitely recommend and will hope to go back in the near future . This site catered for everyone including children with a small children's play area.
