Excellent Facilities, friendly and helpful staff.
Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2026 Wasn't sure what to expect, turned up to find an immaculate site and we were escorted to a very large tent pitch, right next to our friends in their motorhome. Easy EHU in a mowed field, chatted to a groundsman and they plainly take pride in their work. Best of all was my friend's butane unexpectedly ran out, but the staff not only had the correct tools but also supplied a new bottle, whereas we expected to be chasing around Devon of a Sunday to try to get the correct size of butane. Particularly enjoyed no social club/bar, when a good foodie pub is only 10 minutes walk away. Minimal light pollution, great for star and satellite watching.
New motorhome adventure
Motorhome - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Aug 2026 Starting out with my motorhome after 6 weeks of ownership! Pooh Cottage holiday park was perfect for a short stay. Hard standing had fresh water tap waste water drain & hook up individually allocated. Quiet site with mini children's park. Site Wardens were on hand and excellent help, a particular acknowledgment to Barry who saved us following a leisure battery malfunction!
Shower block was fabulous...open 24/7 and clean.
WiFi was included in booking - was ok to start, with but unable to connect last few days

Electric camping pitch
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2026 The 2 night camping trip for myself & my teenage girls was all about convenience.
We were staying near Otterton due to holidaying with another family. This was perfect. We weren't on the site much, but staff were friendly & lent us an extension cable for the electric.
Showers and toilets were clean and modern, and I had zero complaints from my teenage girls, which says everything!

Peaceful place in a beautiful location
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2026 We loved Pooh Cottage. It was the campsite with the best sanitary facilities and the friendliest staff.
The have 5 or 6 complete bathrooms, where the WC and shower are together and you use it like your own bathroom. Very new, modern and comfortable.
The location is good to visit Budleigh Salterton, Exmouth, Sidmouth and a plenty of nice beaches. There is a small walk through the forest for the dogs. Perfect.
We will visit this place when we visit Devon again. Thanks.
Great friendly wardens at nice site
Large A-class or Tag Axle Motorhome - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Jul 2026 Great site a 20 min walk from the high street and a 25 minute walk to the beach, which is dog friendly on some parts. Nice showers and toilets. Dog walking area on site. Lots of seasonal pitches are in-situ. Shout out to Kev, Denise and Barry who were very friendly and helpful wardens - cheers guys x
The Dog and Donkey pub is about a 10 min walk from site and is a really friendly pub. We ate there 2 nights in a row.
There is the number 2 cycle route just off the site which is a lovely and shady walk for the dogs to walk too.
We will definitely be returning.

Motorhome - Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2026 Pooh Cottage was an exceptionally stay, the toilets were the best we have ever experience on our travels.
The staff were very helpful and friendly we will visit again for sure.

Short mid-week stay
Motorhome - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Jun 2026 First visit to this small site. Very quiet as most of the pitches were occupied with seasonal caravans with most unoccupied. Peaceful and immaculate with up-to-date facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful.
With Budleigh Salterton just a mile away and Exmouth 4 miles away it was easy us to walk to both, especially as the tarmac path along the old railway line allowed us to enjoy a peaceful walk into Exmouth with a bus back.
Would recommend and look forward to visiting again.
Super lovely quiet campsite

Very clean and tidy. Staff were very friendly and welcoming.
My only down comment is the water in one of the sinks didn’t go down the drain and I had cleaned my teeth, didn’t like leaving it but no choice. But this wouldn’t stop me going back.
