Fabulous return visit
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Aug 2026 Our 3rd visit and as lovely as we remember. Lucy is great and the site is never too busy, even on a Bank Holiday weekend. Perfect location for walking into Minchinhampton and the Common. Very peaceful location. Will definitely be back again.
Fantastic Site
Motorhome - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Aug 2026 Lucy has a fantastic site and is very welcoming. There are large grass pitches and lovely clean facilities.
We would certainly recommend and will be returning.
Quiet andcrelaxed
Medium Tent - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Aug 2026 Lucy rubs a tight ship. That’s not to say there’s an abundance of rules, she’s very clear and precise at check in and shows you to your pitch.
You’ll commonly see her in the morning on her general walk round and very approachable.
The campsite is a haven of peace and quiet and if you want the smallest amount of bustle the village is only a 5min walk.
Facilities are very clean with a plenty of hot water and showers with good pressure.
Even the chemical disposal has disinfectant wipes!!
All in all 10/10 with next year will being our 5th visit, and looking forward already.

Lovely peaceful campsite!
Medium Tent - Paddock Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2026 We had a peaceful and lovely stay for three nights. Facilities are excellent and really impressed with the kitchen area and use of a fridge freezer. Lucy was really welcoming and helpful throughout the stay.
Lots to see and do in the area and would really recommend!

In a small village but what a lovely base to have to go off and explore the rest of the area around
Facilities top notch
Bathrooms and toilets spotless
Kitchen facilities spotless and a very good provision with washing machine and drying facilities
Dog walking woods is fab and all enclosed
Everything on the site is within reach of any plot you’re on
Each plot is massive! And the grass embankments make you feel like you’ve got you’re own little area and field but not too enclosed off that you can’t people watch and see others pottering around on their own little patches too!
Owner is fab very helpful always around to answer questions or give local advice on what to do and where to go and what to see!
We will be back for sure and spread the word in this absolute find!
Wonderful stay
Medium Tent - Paddock Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2026 Had a great pitch in the main field; flat, not too far from the facilities and dog walk area and with its own water tap and a tree offering shade from the sun. Walking into Minchinhampton takes about 5 minutes and we enjoyed the pub there and used the shop too. Exploring the area was enjoyable - even with the waiting for cows and horses to cross the roads on the Common! Will definitely be back again.

Lucy was super friendly and we loved the campsite donkeys! It is in a great location for walks and conveniently located for the village of Minchinhampton, which has a great pub, delicious bakery and cute shops!

Roof Tent - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Aug 2026 Let on arrival by the very friendly and approachable owner (Lucy) who showed us to our large pitch, which included EHU.
Facilities were very clean - offering showering and toileting facilities. There was even a kitchen to wash up any pots/pans etc.
Campsite is a short five minute walk from the local amenities, which includes a shop, market, bakery, pub and much more.
A very quiet site that is adults only.
Quiet site on the edge of a beautiful village
Single Axle Caravan - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Aug 2026 The site was quiet, except for the occasional donkey bray and the facilities were spotless. Don't be put off by the array of vehicles on the way in. The owner couldn't have been more accommodating.
Minchinhampton is a pretty Cotswold village with a village shop, pub and coffee shops, plenty of walking opportunities plus free-roaming cows for entertainment.

Motorhome - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Aug 2026 Great site with huge pitches and fantastic facilities. A very short stroll to the lovely town centre and close to fantastic walks.
3rd visit
Single Axle Caravan - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Aug 2026 This was our 3rd visit.
It's a basic grass site on a slight slope (take ramps if in a caravan) The adjacent road is barely used so the peace & quiet is bliss, and the site is adult only.
We had electric & water, so could nearly class it as a serviced pitch. Facility block is clean & tidy. It's only 40 minutes from our home, so really convenient for us. Will definitely be going back.
Super relaxing stay
Medium Tent - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Aug 2026 Fabulous stay at Tobacconist Farm Campsite! Pitch was perfect, as was everything else. Everywhere was super clean and facilities were spot on. Lucy was very welcoming and so helpful in lending us an electric cable that we needed but hadn’t brought! Very short walk into the lovely Minchinhampton. Can highly recommend the food The Crown pub and the sausage rolls at Henry’s cafe. Alun and Alice the donkeys were so friendly too. Will definitely return there soon. Thanks for a memorable stay! ☺️

Medium Tent - Paddock Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2026 Very quiet site with excellent washing facilities.
Fridge and freezer very welcome and also a washing machine if you need it. Lucy was very welcoming and popped round every day to check all was OK. A short ten minute walk to Minchinhampton with a lovely coffee shop (very vegan friendly) and a small general store. Pub food was good too.

Large Tent - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Aug 2026 Great campsite with good facilities. Toilets, showers and washing up areas were warm and spotless. Large pitches, good space between you and other campers. Would highly recommend.

Great little camping spot
Small Tent - Paddock Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2026 Lovely camp site only a short 5 minute walk to the main town. Toilet facilities were clean and well kept and the kitchen area was extremely useful for washing up, making a hot drink or even doing some laundry if needed. Lucy greeted us at the entrance and showed us to our pitch and gave us information about the campsite and the local town which was very helpful. Short drive away from Nailsworth and Stroud. Would definitely book again as a base for exploring the Cotswolds.

The area was very clean and tidy
The showers and toilets were always clean and the little kitchen room with hot water sinks kettle and washing machine was an added bonus

Very relaxing break
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Aug 2026 A friendly welcome from Lucy, with all the information we needed. Pitch was large with relaxed set-up direction so we were able to make the most of sun and shade as required. Nice clean facilities, and lovely wooded area for the dogs to wander and toilet (bags provided and bin at the gate). We loved the friendly donkeys! A pleasant walk into Minchinhampton, which is a lovely little town. Henry's Bakehouse cafe was excellent (lovely bacon and avacado rolls and great coffee) We also visited the pub, nice food too. Beautiful church with amazing windows inside and wonderful to have the common so close to give the dogs a run. Everything you require from a campsite and really quiet and peaceful.
Friendly site with great facilities
VW-Type Campervan - Large Grass Pitches with Optional Electric Aug 2026 We had a lovely stay at Tobacconist farm. The facilities were excellent. Plenty of hot water and spotlessly clean. Also a great perk was the washing machine and washing line. We really appreciated it. Many thanks Lucy. PS the donkeys were a special treat!!
