Lovely campsite

Great campsite, very relaxed and friendly in beautiful surroundings. Nice and quiet at night. Pub and food on site and also the ice cream is excellent. We enjoyed our stay.

What more could you want

A lovely hidden gem that we will definitely be coming back to! Staff were very helpful from the very start . We were allocated a newly positioned pitch which was a tad further from the EHU than we expected. We were offered a longer cable as soon as we pulled up and turns out we needed it! So grateful they had one. Pitch was an excellent size and never felt on top of anyone else. Facilities are excellent and well maintained. Now the important bit - the ice cream!! Wow is all I can say. We will certainly miss that daily treat! And the pub is very welcoming and a perfect place to sit. We wanted a couple of chill days and that's what we got! Hope to book the Paddock with friends next time!

great campsite

we stayed at Solley's for 2 nights as we were visiting friends in Deal. we were quickly shown where our pitch was and given the wifi code and menu for the cafe. staff and owner are friendly and helpful. really peaceful place as not too big. pub. is nice and there are places to sit in or out with a supply of blankets if needed. we ordered takeaway pizza and ate it at the pub. maize maze was fun and the ice cream was delicious. shower cubicles were fine. cleaned thoroughly everyday. nice hot water and good water pressure. got a bit mucky by nightime but to be expected . there is a little runway and it was great to have some small planes / gliders landing (during the day only). live music on a friday night. would definitely stay here again.

Great site

It's a great site with a great restaurant and bar. Lots of evenings with entertainment too. Toilets really need air fresheners and maybe twice a day clean, other than that all good. Felt a little expensive at £40 per night. Loved the rural setting.

A very nice campsite

A lovely campsite, a friendly feel during the day and amazing respectfully quiet past 10pm. The showers, toilets and washing up area are all in good nick with warm water. The on site café was lovely as was the ice cream. The kids made some friends and enjoyed playing in the field. The only downside we had was that on arrival we couldn't get through to anyone and had to wait an hour before the phone connected. I think it would be helpful if the pub and/or café had, at least, the pitch numbers of arrivals to help resolve this issue. Still, once we'd got set up, we had a lovely time and would definitely go back.

Fantastic !

It’s the best campsite i have ever stayed at . So friendly and wonderful for families and couples . The ice cream was divine and nice to have pub and cafe onsite for yummy food and also pizza van was great . I would really recommend this site ! The aircraft landing was very exciting too !

The Harrison’s first visit of many!

We’re quite new to campervanning. This is by far the best place we’ve stayed. The facilities are amazing. The staff were fantastic and it was so nice to be able to grab a wood fired pizza, solleys delicious ice cream and have a cold crisp beer in the really well done onsite pub. 100 percent will be back. We have a brilliant time. Thank you

Lovely relaxed site!

Great place to stay. Very relaxed and we had a great pitch next to the pub garden. Fantastic ice cream and lovely walks. My granddaughter loved the tractor ride with Luke and the maize maze. Just a couple of ideas, a small shop selling milk and other basics would be great and new locks on the showers/toilets. We had a lovely break.

Beautiful site spotless toilet and showers. Lovely ice cream parlour also doing breakfasts. Friendly pub. Beautiful surrounds I travelled alone felt total safe

A great stay at Solley's. Fantastic campsite and lovely, helpful staff, they even helped us pump up a flat tyre. We'll be back

Happy with our stay

Stay was good, large pitch. Ice cream café offered gluten free, which was excellent. Gluten free options for wood fired pizza were not available unfortunately. Spoiled by other people staying who obviously either could not read signs, or chose to ignore them with dogs off leads, which was not good for us with a reactive rescue dog with diagnosed PTSD, very selfish. Not venue's fault, plenty of signs and in T&C's.

Great peaceful site perfect for not going anywhere everything you need is there

Perfect ! Facilities are top notch!

Perfect… pub, tea room, amazing ice cream, helpful formerly staff, nice size pitch , electricity and water at your pitch! A mini stop over for us but we will be back for a goes 3-4 nights soon!

Fantastic site

A lovely few days stay, great bar and live music. Well kept site with huge nicely spaced pitches. Nice self contained toilets/showers. Tight lanes to reach site and massive queues for the bar on a very busy evening.

great camp site, loved the pub and motor bikes. the showers need a bit of updating, will be going to book again soon great for dog walks. walk into Deal was nice over the corn fields

Brilliant site

My friends and I booked the paddock for 3 nights as a group holiday. It was brilliant value for money, perfect for a group that means we don't disturb other campers. The staff were really helpful whenever there was an issue. Only issue is that the toilet doors were difficult to lock but it was never really a big problem. Absolutely would recommend for anyone visiting the area.

Great location, lovely staff!

Lovely site, plenty of space, really friendly staff and delicious ice cream. Toilets and shower block could do with some love/cleaning but everything else was great

Absolutely brilliant!

Lovely dog friendly camp site. Nice big pitch for our caravan. Ice cream parlour and pub on site. Had wood fired pizza one night. Lovely helpful staff on site. Showers etc were good. Would definitely go there again.

Lovely stay

Lovely farm site , well located for coast . Clearly well cared for , simple but clean and well organised. Pub and icecream parlour a real bonus. Hope to visit again.

Bar bonus

we stayed here and what a pleasure clean and tidy great amenities with the bonus of food open from 9 to 3. an a pub open from 12. even had a bonus of a bike meet there ( bikergirl ) here. the only thing I wud of changed is that they disabled toilet had a shower apart that perfect

pleasant & quiet site

Owner met us & took us to a large pitch. Site very quiet when we were there. Used the on site pub, staff very friendly. Also had a wood fired pizza when it opened on Wednesday night, very tasty.

Fabulous few days away

We arrived and found the ice cream parlour, the bar and our pitch with very little effort. Everyone was really nice and helpful. We pitched up and found the bar - the campsite is really lovely facilities are clean and the ice cream was great. Short drive to Deal, we went to the beach, swam in the sea, saw seals in the water and went back the second day to the market, which was lovely. The town is nice, took our son to the small free outdoor pool, perfect weather for it, and found a lovely pub on the sea front for lunch. We had a great stay and will definitely be back - our son had tears, he didn't want to leave.

Great site with loads of room good facilities not for the faint hearted if you love ice cream 28 different flavours on our visit top notch stuff
