Gem of a site

An absolute treasure of a site. Small with excellent facilities. The pitches were spacious and private separated by berms and areas of wilding flora. An immaculate adults only site with excellent toilet and shower facilities with more hot water than I've ever experienced. Welcomed on arrival by Lucy, for whom nothing was too much trouble, and shown to our pitch. Highly recommended and we will definitely return.

A really great campsite

Nice quiet site with excellent pitches and good clean and well maintained facilities. Lots of showers and WCs, with plenty of hot water, paper towels and loo roll. The site is dog friendly and has a nice enclosed woodland dog walking area. It's a short walk from the site into Minchinhampton which is a pretty market town and where there is a convenience store, pub, bakehouse and a very nice Italian cafe / restaurant. Lucy the site owner is charming, extremely helpful and readily on hand. All in all, one of the best sites we've stayed on and we would heartily recommend it for anyone seeking a peaceful, relaxing and fuss free stay in this lovely part of the UK.

Great location

Great location, easy walk to the village. Great walks on the common. Very clean and a nice welcome, including a sheet with all the information on.

Two nights stay at this site

This site has clean shower/toilet facilities, good size pitches and close to a small village. We would like to say thank you to Lucy, for running a great little site. And we really appreciated the local information she gave us. Which enabled us to have a lovely day walking around the common. Lucy was very polite and friendly and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Lovely peaceful campsite in great location

We really enjoyed our 3 nights stay. We were welcomed and shown to our booked pitch. The campsite was peaceful and quiet, being adults only. The facilities were good and always clean. Lovely hot showers with good pressure. The weekend was busy, so queues for the 3 unisex showers. A well equipped kitchen, with fridge/ freezer, washing machine and kettle. Ali charging sockets. Would have been nice to have a hair dryer. Really appreciated the washing line for hanging wet towels. We loved the location with lots of walks and beautiful villages around. We will be back!

Tranquil site

Lovely peaceful site with nice spacious pitches, no rigid pitching rules. Set in a beautiful location. Just be careful sat nav doesn’t send you through the village or some of the narrow lanes around the site if you’re towing.

Well worth every penny

Fantastic location, facilities and owner. Toilets and showers were always impeccably clean with hot water. The kitchen was above amd beyond with laundry facilities, a fridge and kettle as well as plugs to charge electronic equipment. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay, thank you Lucy.

Lovely site on the edge of a charming village

Spacious site, with plenty of space between pitches. Our plot had electric hook up and it's own water supply. Luxury! Great foody pub in town, which is a 5 minute walk away. Also easy access to the "common".

Fabulous adult-only site

Fabulous adult-only site. Although the site was full, it didn’t feel busy at all due to the well laid out pitches. We loved that we could use the fire pits and could buy wood on site. Lucy, the campsite owner, is really friendly and accommodating, and clearly loves dogs. The location is brilliant - only a 5 minute walk to the village with a brilliant pub. The walks from the site are also great. We loved the site so much that we booked to go again.

Lovely, peaceful and clean campsite

Really lovely campsite. Toilets and showers are great, very clean and lots of hot water. The tent pitches are spacious and not over crowded. So peaceful and a great place to visit. We were a group of 8 with 4 dogs and was super accommodating. Loads of lovely walks and places to visit. Highly recommend!

Lovely site

Really well kept site with spacious pitches and clean facilities with a nice relaxed feel to it. Easy five minute walk to the pretty village centre with pub, cafe, convenience store, and lovely open commons.

Great campsite

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tobacconist Farm. The pitches are well spaced and the toilet block was the cleanest and warmest we've come across. Great location, easy walk into Minchinhampton which has a lovely pub. We'll be back!

Peaceful site

Lovely adult only site. So peaceful. Our first time on this site and we hope to return this summer. Local pub only 5 minutes walk away sells lovely food with charming service. Beautiful walks from the site. If you are in a Motorhome and want to use buses they are few and far between. Getting to Highgrove proved interesting, but not impossible, by bus. Local cabs were frankly unwilling and it's only 7 miles up the road. Mentioning this because we chose the site for its proximity as we had garden tour tickets. This was of course no fault of the site which was perfect for us.

What a great find. Perfect location in a beautiful village. The site is amazing, showers hot and toilets spotless. The fire pit is the icing on the cake. We will definitely be returning.

We had a great stay, the site was perfect with great facilities and everything was well maintained. Lucy was very helpful and friendly. Will stay again.

Absolute must visit!

We stayed at Tobacconist Farm for the first time. Not knowing what to expect, we couldn't have been happier with our stay! The campsite owner, Lucy, sent a message on the morning providing information about the stay and was available via text to answer any questions we had. Lucy was so accommodating upon arrival, personally taking us to our pre-designated pitch, giving us additional information about the site and local things to do. This adult-only campsite is lovely, set in a really quiet area, with pleasant views of the campsite and loads of space on each pitch. Her son comes round in the early evening offering the use of their fire pits and selling firewood, and was extremely polite and friendly. The enclosed dog walking woodland is big enough for our cocker spaniel to run around and do his business and is so handy to have on site! We will certainly be booking again and cannot recommend this place enough!

Lovely, relaxing campsite outside a beautiful village

This is a lovely site just outside of Minchinhampton. It is quiet and well kept by Lucy, who is very easy to be contacted if needs be. Our pitch had water and electric and nicely placed with good space between the next pitch. The facilities are excellent and very clean. It is placed just outside of Minchinhampton which is a lovely Cotswold village and is well placed to visit the surrounding villages with lots of walking and cycling along the Canal towpath nearby. We would definitely recommend this site and hope to return soon.

Perfect

Lovely site with super clean and plentiful toilet/showers, easy walk into the local village and to top it off a couple of sweet donkeys in the neighbouring field.

A peaceful haven!

We said last year we’d be back, and finally we were. The pitches are well spaced out and generous and there are lovely walks direct from the site. Looking forward to the next time!

Fabulous peaceful spacious campsite

Fabulous site, booked to come back again already. Very chilled, huge pitches, adult only and very peaceful. Great dog walking area, large fire pits and they sell logs, lovely stay.

Second time of staying here. A lovely peaceful site on the edge of a beautiful village. Facilities are clean and tidy as is the site. Lucy and her team are friendly and helpful. Village pub serves a wonderful Sunday roast!

A really lovely site

We had a really lovely stay on this beautiful campsite. It's an adult only site and dog friendly which was perfect for us. It's in a rural location with the pretty little town of Minchinhampton only a few minutes walk away. The town has a few places to eat and a small but well stocked convenience store. We had a wonderful stay and can't wait to return very soon.
