Motorhome - Electric Gravel Touring Pitches Sep 2024 Lovely, peaceful site very close to Leicester. Suited as we had a wedding in Leicester. Peaceful rural site with excellent facilities. Powerful hot showers the best we've come across.
Saffron and Glen were very quick to respond with any queries. Will return. Five stars!
Very nice stay
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Electric Gravel Touring Pitches Aug 2024 We were positively surprised. After we arrived, we had some issues with our booking, but a very nice neighbour helped us out.
In the end, we had a nice and calm stay and will come back for our next holiday in England.

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Electric Gravel Touring Pitches Aug 2024 Excellent sleepy hollow peaceful campsite with some luxuries thrown in like good wifi and bathroom facilities. The showers were particularly good with a powerful jet of hot water to wash a days travelling away.
Lovely little campsite in a beautiful location
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Gravel Touring Pitches Jul 2024 We stayed here for 2 nights. It was located in a perfect location for us to travel to Mallory park on the Saturday. Toilets were clean showers were very good. Lovely and quiet. Would definitely stay again.

Great location, 20 minute walk to a great pub and curry house, then back for a peaceful sleep. Highly recommend.

Fabulous peaceful stay
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Electric Gravel Touring Pitches Jun 2024 A fabulous stay in this quiet spot off the beaten track. Facilities were excellent - hot powerful showers - loved the stylish shepherds style hut and toilets block. Maybe a simple long handled flat brush on back of each shower block door would encourage campers to keep floor grass free and less slippy in between each usage? Glamping pods looked stylish and new.
Some pitches were on a steady slope but chocks available on loan.
Really enjoyed our stay. We will return 😊

Motorhome - Electric Gravel Touring Pitches May 2024 Washing up area was excellent. Toilet cubicle small with a minute sink. Self service check in. A board on where to go would have been useful. Overall a pleasant site.
Lovely little site in a quiet spot
Motorhome - Electric Gravel Touring Pitches Apr 2024 Lovely little site.
Nice shower block but it needs cleaning every day when there are many users. We arrived to them cleaning it on Friday and it was excellent. Hot water at no extra cost, but that was the last time it was cleaned and we left Sunday mid-morning.
The owners kept in touch by text and were very helpful, but a warden on-site would have been nice.
A very pleasant weekend
Motorhome - Electric Gravel Touring Pitches Mar 2024 Nice little site just off the A47, very quiet and picturesque.
Superb facilities and washing up area, plus the best showers I've used in years - a nice rustic, eco feel. Good, clear communications via text/phone from the owners.
The site is on a slope, with a gravel track leading to 5 mainly level gravel bays, there are wooden chicks available to use to level up if need be. The gravel needs to be a little more compacted to get better grip, as it took a bit of effort to get up the gravel track, quite steep in places. More use over the summer will no doubt improve traction.
Don't let that put you off though, it's a really cracking, individual and well considered site with great walks on the doorstep and a good pub at Houghton on the Hill.
Small, compact site
Motorhome - Electric Gravel Touring Pitches Oct 2023 The site was very remote and a 25 minute walk to the nearest pub/shop.
Fox's Furrow is a small, compact site with a small shower / toilet area. The facilities were very clean, which is amazing bearing in mind how muddy and wet the site was in general. The hosts were extremely helpful, they pulled our camper out of the mud and helped us find a firmer pitch with some jumbo levelling blocks.
The site was very muddy and would benefit from wider gravel pitches and a gravel path to the toilet area. The pitches were also slanted one way or another and we found it difficult to get the camper level.
