Motorhome - Optional Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2024 The most amazing little gem of a site. Wonderful surroundings and just as wonderful hosts. Showers and toilets were spotless and did not matter what time you used these facilities, they were always clean 👍👍👍👍
Hidden gem
Twin Axle Caravan - Optional Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2024 Very short stay with friends, but oh my goodness, this is a beautiful place. We were pitched by the lakeside which was perfect to simply while away time fishing and admiring the wildlife.
The owners run the site in a very unobtrusive nature with simple rules and friendly advice.
I especially liked the simple "park the jockey wheel on the marker" system as it can be quite different at club sites. Especially with some over zealous wardens!
The pitch we had was very spacious and level. While I understand that you can't reserve specific pitches, the owner went out of his way to get us the pitch we wanted and managed to get us next to our friends, which was lovely.

Single Axle Caravan - Optional Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2024 Beautiful lakeside pitches. Great if you like to fish. Bit of a trek from our pitch to the grey and black water points. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in superb summer weather. Would recommend.

Single Axle Caravan - Optional Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2024 Our weekend stay was perfect. The site and facilities are immaculate. The owner very welcoming and incredibly hard working to ensure everything runs perfectly.
Good little bar on site for the evenings. Adults only which for us was a definite plus providing a relaxing atmosphere and other caravaners were friendly.
Although not dog owners ourselves it was good to see dogs being very welcome and all well behaved.
First stay at Gatton Waters
Motorhome - Optional Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2024 Our stay got off to a great start with a warm welcome from Mark. Throughout our stay, Mark was very helpful with plenty of suggestions of things to do and places to go. The site itself was great, lovely views of the lake and of course the geese. We spent a pleasant evening or two in the bar chatting to Mark, his family and other guests. We will definitely be back.
Great site
VW-Type Campervan - Optional Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2024 This is a great site if you want peace and quiet (and some fishing).
Most of the pitches are spaced out around the lake with small toilet/shower blocks. These are basic but clean so no problems. Wi-Fi is great if that's your thing and there is distant road noise but nothing to trouble you.
All in all a great, quite site allowing you to explore North Norfolk.

It was a short drive to the beach, RSPB, and Sandringham. Highly recommend.

VW-Type Campervan - Optional Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2024 Fabulous campsite in a great location. We received a warm welcome on arrival.
The shower and toilet block were modern and very clean with plenty of hot water, a first for me.
You only pay for the electricity you use. I thought this was great, I wish more campsites had this facility.
I would highly recommend this campsite.

Was met on arrival and had a choice of lakeside pitches so my husband could fish. Fishing was good.
Excellent clean and tidy shower blocks.
Easy drive into nearby Sandringham and Hunstanton.
Will definitely be returning.
Spur of the moment
Motorhome - Optional Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2024 We were on our maiden voyage in our new to us motorhome.
We had stayed a few days in Ludham and wanted to try packing away and setting up again 😊. Searched for nearby campsites with fishing (keeping hubby happy 😉) and found Gatton Waters.
Lovely site. Mark and his family were very welcoming. Grass pitches but very level so easy to set up our motorhome. Toilets and showers very clean. Good motorhome point for draining grey water and lots of places to dispose of rubbish and empty toilet etc.
Hubby enjoyed a morning fishing and our GSD enjoyed the walks and watching all the wildlife, good sized field where she could run off lead.
Really peaceful couple of days to end our maiden trip, will definitely be returning, hubby with his carp gear next time 😂 as he hears there may be some larger ones to catch 🎣

VW-Type Campervan - Optional Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2024 We loved this site. The lake is beautiful and great to fish. Even the pitches away from the lake had wonderful countryside views. The facilities were clean and in good repair, with lovely hot showers and the Wi-Fi was good across the site.
Very close to Sandringham, with nice local roads for cycling, with nearby country tracks for running and walking. A very relaxing and enjoyable stay. Will definitely visit again.

Motorhome - Optional Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2024 What a great find this campsite was. Beautiful setting with most pitches having a lakeside view. We even had a choice of pitches. Very peaceful setting. Toilet and shower facilities always clean and tidy. Fishing was an added bonus, although we didn't fish this time. Owners were very friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be returning to this site.

Motorhome - Optional Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2024 What a beautiful site, peaceful, spotless - what more could we ask for?
On arrival, we were shown to our pitch. It was over looking the lake and we spent the evening watching fish jumping out of the water and ducks and geese enjoying the warm weather. Perfect, we will definitely be back,
Gem of a site
Single Axle Caravan - Optional Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2024 So glad we found this site, it is faultless. Every little detail thought of. Showers are fantastic! Nice and peaceful too.
Loved laying on a recliner and watching the birds above. Even spotted a skylark singing its heart out.
We were by the lake so enjoyed the ducklings too. The fishermen seemed to all be catching so its well stocked.
They also have a small bar on site which was nice in the evening. We will definitely be returning this summer.

VW-Type Campervan - Optional Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2024 Firstly, the entrance barrier was a real plus, easy to get in and out but added a lovely feeling of safety.
Our pitch was best for sunsets and didn't disappoint. It was nice and flat and had loads of space. Don't let the electric card put you off, we stayed 4 nights (one with the heater on and ran a fridge constantly and only used £2.21. The showers are amazing! Best we've ever had. Lots of space, hygienic and always clean.
The lake is just gorgeous and perfect for that first morning dog walk, plenty of poo bins too. There are geese, so there is the inevitable left behind but it wasn't an issue. We did the recommended walk to Castle Rising, worth every step with a lizard and slow worm plus ducks and birds galore. The site manager/owner is so friendly and helpful, and really patient whilst we were choosing our pitch, lol.
This was bay far our favourite site and we will definitely be back!

Peaceful lakeside
Motorhome - Optional Electric Grass Pitches May 2024 This site is so peaceful and beautiful, with its own fishing lake if you are a fan. We didn't use the lake for fishing but just enjoyed the wonderful setting.
The owners could not have done enough for us being relative newbies to the motorhome lifestyle. I think we have been rather spoilt by this site. Toilets and showers are spotlessly clean and warm and plentiful.
Would highly recommend.

Twin Axle Caravan - Optional Electric Grass Pitches May 2024 Stayed for 4 nights, it was a lovely site that was looking out onto the lake. Mark was very helpful and made sure everything was ok. The toilets were nice and clean .
