Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Jun 2025 Stayed here with friends in the old barn, I was in caravan on one of the pitches, they were in the barn.
Could not have been more friendly and helpful they, let me keep the pitch till the evening as my friends were staying another day and wanted to be with them till I went home.
What an amazing experience it was staying here, thanks so much.
And two lovely little friendly dogs too.
Nice little gem of a site Recommends site
Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Pitches May 2025 Nice little 6 van site tucked away in a small village. There is a few shops and a pub a few mins walk up the road.
The eco toilets and showers were spacious and very clean.
We chatted with the friendly owner on arrival and was told we could use their large field joined to the site to exercise our 2 dogs if we wished.
Excellent little site Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Apr 2025 This is a perfect site for a simple short stay. It was very quiet (we were the only guests, the only other vehicle was the owner's motorhome). It is next to a road so there is some traffic in the daytime, but not heavy. It is easy to get to, no narrow lanes. The owner lives close by and was very friendly and helpful.
There is EHU, water taps, toilets and showers, a waste disposal point and bins for rubbish and recycling. There is no Wi-Fi and quite limited phone signal - but that may be an advantage if you want to get away from it all. The toilet/shower building is newly built of timber and plastic panels with two loos with hand basins on the top of the cisterns, and two large showers, quirky but clean and functional.
It's a shortish walk to the coast in two directions - Walcott and Happisburg (pronounced Haysborough), which boasts the only working lighthouse in private hands (open occasionally). Both have sandy beaches. There are some nice churches in the area, we met the warden of the nearest one and were invited in. There are several pubs, we ate in the Lighthouse Inn at Walcott and the food was good basic stuff at a reasonable price. There are no big attractions nearby, which suited us. Good for wildlife spotting, I saw several kestrels hovering and there were skylarks, goldfinches, greenfinches, bluetits and blackcaps around (according to the Merlin app).
Loud Twin Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Mar 2025 No signage, so went past it - so did our friends. We had a big detour to get in and the gate is narrow and angled, so very difficult to enter with a bigger vehicle.
The passing traffic is horrendous, especially lorries and tractors - very loud and constant. The site is not very even and needs some TLC. You can't walk anywhere from the site due to the traffic and no pavement.
Frist time out this year Recommends site
Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Mar 2025 It was great for the first time this year.
Close to the Broads Recommends site
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Sep 2024 Basic facilities but friendly owner and very convenient for the Broads and the coast.
Great site Recommends site
Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Aug 2024 Great site.
Basic campsite but lovely clean showers and toilets.
Norfolk is fantastic, you must visit Recommends site
Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Aug 2024 Had a fantastic stay in wonderful Norfolk, walking the coast and visiting the great National Trust estates in the area.
Bellevue was a great place to base our adventures from and great value for money. It may not have all the bells and whistles of other sites, but it has all you need.
Basic, but good Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Aug 2024 Lovely little basic Campsite with around 8-10 pitches which appear all serviced with electric hook-up, adjoining field is too.
Next to a road but it was quiet, so a good sleep was had by all.
Not sure on the toilets/ shower block, there's a sink attached to the toilet! Wasn't very happy to use it for washing or teeth cleaning.
16th/17th Aug 2024 Recommends site
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Aug 2024 Great location, lovely little site, very friendly owners were there to help.
Facilities basic but very clean, everything there that was needed.
Would definitely stay again when we visit Norfolk again.
Great location for beach holiday Recommends site
Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Aug 2024 Returned to Bellevue - this time with two grandchildren.
It's only a couple of miles to Walcott which has a sandy beach and free parking is usually available, even in school holidays. On site, there is a block housing two toilets and two showers.
There are six hardstanding electric pitches and plenty of drinking water taps. The grass had just been cut on our arrival and soon found it's way into our caravan, but this was our only issue.
3 dogs & their owners! Recommends site
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Aug 2024 The site has good facilities and a nice size field next to it to walk dogs.
It was nice. There are only a few pitches so it wasn't noisy at all. The downside to the location for us personally was, as there are main roads, there aren't any paths, so walking the dogs to the beach or the pub was dangerous. That meant we had to move the campervan every time we wanted to go out, which wasn't ideal!
Lovely, peaceful site Recommends site
Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Jul 2024 Lovely, peaceful site. Friendly owner met us on arrival. Relaxed atmosphere. Clean but basic shower and toilets, Wi-Fi and electric hook up and a private field to exercise dogs.
A perfect base. Will definitely return.
Bellevue site near Walcott, Norfolk Recommends site
Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Jul 2024 We wanted a site close to family and this site was ideal. It was small and had what we wanted including a large field for our dogs to exercise. There was only two other pitches being used, so was nice and quiet.
The only downside was it was on a crossroads that, at times, got a bit busy, but that is to be expected in the summer and near to the sea.
Overall, it was great and I would definitely go back there.
Stop off only Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Jul 2024 The site was difficult to find as not sign posted. I feel that the owners only need to put a sign on their fencing, which is on the main road - road quiet at night.
A piece of heaven Recommends site
Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Jul 2024 Well, such a lovely lovely lovely CL site. Although Bellevue is situated next to a road, it wasn't a great issue for us.
There are only 5 pitches, we were the only caravanners, so we're properly spoilt. The pitch was just enough for our tourer and an awning. The showers and toilets were spotless. The toilets have a hand basin above the cistern, so that your hand washing water is used to flush, such a great idea. The owners were meters away in their own home, and left us to get on with our stay. They gave us their landline should any issues arise. Our 2 dogs were able to be exercised in the adjoining field, but we were only 5 minutes drive from Happisburgh Beach, which is dog friendly, a beautiful quiet place for our evening walk.
We were spoilt for locations. Walcott has a great chippy, fish and chips were delicious, there is also a Spar shop 5 minutes away. We had such a peaceful break and met with Alex on our final morning.
We most definitely will be returning, great little CL. Thanks Alex and Anne.
Fantastic site Recommends site

Back to the old faithful Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches May 2024 A lovely little spot and a hidden gem. Selfishly hope it stays a hidden gem. We'll always come back to here for this part of Norfolk.
Basic but secluded Recommends site
Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches May 2024 Nice and quiet and secluded from the masses.
Basic services but work ok.
Our second time here and will use again.
Good little CL Recommends site
Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Pitches May 2024 Good little CL with a lovely owner 🙂
10 minute walk into Walcott and a nice little eco shower and toilet. Good price for a BH weekend 🙂
Really enjoyed our stay. Thanks.
Our stay Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Apr 2024 The site was very quiet (which we prefer) and was in an ideal location for us to visit friends with easy access to the coast and nearby towns/city.
Showers and toilets were very clean, however, we found the shower water flow very slow.
An information board showing local sights, places of interest or local amenities may prove helpful to other users of the site, especially if they have small children.
Although the site has wifi, we couldn't get the internet while we were there. If we had called the owners, they may have been able to help.
Overall we found the site great for our needs and would come back again.
Motorhome Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Mar 2024 An easy to find site and it was good for touring.
Nice site Recommends site
Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Mar 2024 Great location. Simple site with nice little shower block.

Visit to Bellevue Recommends site
Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Feb 2024 Before arriving we received a text with all the local information we would need and on arrival, we were welcomed personally to the site.
The site is not quite level, but not problematic. There are toilets and showers, pretty basic but perfectly clean. Not serviced so you need to clean up after yourself (not a big deal). The field to the side can be used to exercise dogs, plenty of running room.
We walked to Happisburgh, in about an hour where there is a friendly pub. Also to the Lighthouse Inn, in about 15 minutes. Again very friendly. The best walk to the beach was Bacton, about half an hour away. Be aware there are no pavements and the road is quite busy. The site is near the busy road, but we didn't have any problems sleeping.
All round a fair site and we would return.
Well located for the beach Recommends site
Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Oct 2023 Lovely, level site. Good facilities and welcoming host.
