Don't hesitate! Book this place

Absolutely stunning setting, I will say we were around 15 minutes out of Oban itself, however it's absolutely beautiful. The lodge was perfect for us to relax and get organised for exploring. The facilities such as kitchen etc were all equipped and very clean, a kitchen pack with dish soap, sponge, bin liner etc is provided, as well as small toiletries in the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. We used the hot tub once on the first night, we couldn't work out the temperature (instructions are actually provided and they're in the kitchen) so it was either to hot or to cold, had we spent more time in the lodge we maybe would of tried harder to sort this but we were busy out and about. For the Argyll and Glencoe pods, which are adjacent to each other at the bottom of the park, there is a car park as you can't have your car parked at your lodge as there isn't space for this, however it's very close by, thought it worth mentioning though. Argyll lodge 9, if you can request it, I would as it's right next to the beautiful cows in the neighbouring field, that come up with their calf to say hello and I feel this lodge adds extra privacy as it's on the end. We will 100% recommend and definitely be back again.

Campervan and awning

The site is in a picturesque location just a short drive from Oban. Great facilities on site, very clean, would highly recommend

Great site with great facilities

Simple arrival process and friendly communication. Has great service facilities and is a short walk to a wonderful beach. Highly recommended.

Ideal location for Oban and Ft William

Very clean and well laid out. Very quiet site but that is due to the site being 80% seasonal and only a few occupied. Nice walk to the beach. Their chippy fish supper was beautiful as confirmed by numerous contented customers. Oban is a short drive away which we visited a few times.

Nice, quiet site

Nice, quiet site. Showers nice and warm, although push button showers which are slightly annoying. One criticism I do have is that on the pitch we were allocated, we were unable to put up awning due to lack of space on pitch, which was disappointing.

Argyll Pod

Our Argyll Pod was immaculate. The location is stunning and the beach is a stones throw away. The beach is clean, quiet and the water is crystal clear.

Spacious and clean site

Good site, well spaced pitches and very clean toilets and showers. Sometimes a queue for the single washing up sink in the evening. Shame no pub nearby.

A great place with spacious plots and access to the beach

We loved the spacious grass pitch that was level enough no to need adjustment. The whole site was neat and well kept and the facilities were clean and in the upper levels of functionality.

Best place ever

Amazing! This place is so relaxing and so special. Facilities brilliant, staff brilliant, location perfect and pods so so clean. We enjoyed our stay so much, we will return. If you get a chance to visit, do it. We only stayed 3 nights, next time will be longer. Nip down the road and check out the best chippie in Scotland, fire up the fire pit, have a BBQ, get in the hot tub and relax because this place is so relaxing and so peaceful. Honestly could not rate this highly enough, 5 stars are not enough. Thank you, we had the best time ever.

Lovely

Lovely place. We stayed in the Highlander 2 pod. Comfy bed with nice linen. Great shower. Lots of utensils for cooking, would have gave 5 stars but the hot tub was cold when we arrived so couldn't use it till later on in the night. Also, the curtains were dirty. I would still come back because we really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful site

Gorgeous little site with access to a beautiful, quiet beach. Extremely peaceful, super clean facilities and easy check in. As a solo female traveller, I felt really safe here. Highly recommended!

Great site with clean, warm facilities right near the beach

This is my second stay and it is a great site, easy to book, easy to get to and right near a lovely big beach. The facilities are clean and warm, and there is no additional charge for the shower. Would stay here again.

Fantastic place and scenery

Great holiday value for money, The campsite is well kept and the facilities are very clean. Plenty of walking, hiking and cycling paths. Only disappointments were that there was no shop on site if you required anything urgently. Also, a nice play area for kids to use as the children on site were playing with balls between the van and motorhomes.

Gorgeous location

Gorgeous location, right near a fabulous beach and the facilities were so clean and the site was very tidy and very well maintained. I enjoyed it so much, I booked another night on the return leg of my travels. I needed somewhere to stay near Oban after a long journey and this was ideal. A beautiful beach and the site and facilities were so clean, tidy and well maintained. I have now booked to stay later in the week on my return part of my journey home as wanted more time at Tralee Bay. Will definitely recommend this site.

Lovely little campsite

This was a lovely little campsite in a beautiful location. The facilities were fine - if a little basic - but we had everything we needed and the info sheet was informative. Great, flat pitch for the motorhome and plenty of space.

Wow! What a place!

Wow! What a place! Cosy, excellent hot tub, quiet, really well equipped I was really impressed by how well appointed the glamping pod with hot tub was for our 2 night stay in April. Benderloch is just slightly outside of Oban (across the Connel bridge) but feels like a totally different holiday place. This campsite is just a short walk from the beach and a little forested playground with swings for the kids. There is a cash only fish and chip shop nearby, but it was so popular we didn't manage to try it - maybe next time! The hot tub was hot and worked well. The pod was well appointed and had just enough pots, pans, cutlery, plates and cups for our 2 adults and 2 kids. We'll definitely be back!

Fantastic location

The site was fantastic and well looked after. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We booked for 2 nights, unfortunately due to the weather in Edinburgh and on the route home we left early. However, amazing location and close to some lovely scenery. We will return.
