Small Tent - Electric Grass PitchesJun 2025

The site itself was fairly basic but clean and tidy, the are it was set was beautiful. we were really lucky we chose a day where the weather was stunning but Burghead itself was a lovely seaside town. we had access to Roseisle from the rear of the campsite and it was so lovely. I'd definitely go back again.

Nice little site

Motorhome - Electric Grass PitchesJun 2025

Booked this site via Campsites.co.uk with only a couple of days to go, but the confirmation came through before we left. Booking was easy enough but I thought the price was for the first night only and was expecting to pay more on arrival. But no, a very nice lady booked as in on arrival and confirmed the price was for both nights, so I promptly paid for a further two nights on the spot. Remarkably cheap price but not in terms of quality. The site is mainly statics with a circle of grass in front of the reception/amenity block. There are another few pitches at the back of the site. We were on a grass pitch and we had plenty of room. There was a drinking water tap and waste water in the centre. The toilet block was clean and well maintained with a carpeted floor. Showers were the push button type and absolutely fine. Floor does get a little bit wet but fine. The site looks onto a beautiful sandy beach which stretches all the way to Findhorn. To the side of the site and behind, the beach is a huge forest with walks galore and a cafe near Roseisle. The town itself is nice and lots of interesting things to see. There is a wee cafe at the beach on front of the site. This is a nice site which I would definitely recommend and would go back to. It is extraordinarily inexpensive compared to others of similar or even lesser quality. A breath of fresh air.

Very friendly quiet campsite

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass PitchesMay 2025

Stayed here as a stopover. Round field for tourers surrounded by static caravans. Facilities clean and ok, fab if you want to be near the beach.

Just what we needed

Large Tent - Electric Grass PitchesMay 2025

This was a simple campsite, although it was all we were looking for. Beautiful location right on the incredible beach running all the way from Burghead to Findhorn several miles away. It's also at the entrance to a large, but very quiet pine forest that runs way past Roseisle. Modest facilities, but everything we needed to get by for a basic camping trip.
