VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Wild Pitches Jun 2025 Fantastic little gem of a campsite just a mile or so out from the three sisters car park.
Upon arrival the reception is in immediate view, greeted by a lovely woman with short hair who was very informative. Had a wee drive round and picked our spot to park up at.
Everyone in the campsite was respectful and quiet. It was lovely to see deer just walking around carefree in the campsite too.
My dogs and my girlfriend loved their stay and we will definitely be back.
Beware of midges Recommends site
Large Tent - Non Electric Wild Pitches Jun 2025 Lovely campsite, we couldn't fault it - between hills and a little river, lots of trees and plenty of space to camp. Beautiful site.
Facilities were clean, there was a food van and an additional van with coffee and cake, you can get your essentials (including a fire pit with wood) at the reception. A pub within a short walk, plenty of other places within a short drive.
But you must be aware of midges, they take no prisoners. We were wearing nets whenever outside and we still got half-eaten.
Beautiful campsite with stunning scenery around Recommends site

The site is surrounded by nature with beautiful mountain and rivers views. We wish to stay longer and we will definitely return to Red Squirrel.
Thank you to all members of staff.

I felt so comfortable staying here meeting and talking to different people, thank you for having us! Definitely be travelling up again soon.

Great Campsite near Glencoe Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Wild Pitches May 2025 We only stayed one night en route to Mull but Red Squirrel would be a in great location from which to explore Glencoe and its mountains.

Amazing campsite Recommends site
Small Tent - Non Electric Wild Pitches May 2025 An amazing site where you can pitch up anywhere you fancy amongst the trees. Due to the exceptional warm & dry weather, campfires were a no go, but it didn't spoil our stay.
This site is by far the best we've stayed on and will definitely return.
Silver lining Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Wild Pitches May 2025 I've given the Red Squirrel 5 stars on each of the categories, not something I do lightly.
My stay there was a last minute thing after changes at an event meant somewhere had to be found. All I needed was somewhere to park, and sleep overnight, while I was off doing my job. Wwhat I got was so much more.
Yes, as it is a wild camping site, meant I wasn't expecting knobs bells and whistles, nor do I actually need such stuff, what I do need are clean toilets and showers with hot water - see five stars on the cleanliness and facilities.
All the staff I met - check-in, site info, odd questions - were knowledgeable, helpful, polite and knew the surrounding area, so five stars on the standard of service. Can't fault the cost of the stay either and the actual location was excellent from a camping point of view and only seven miles away from where I was working each day.
The fact a deer strolled past my plot as I was having a coffee one morning was just a bonus. So, yes, Red Squirrel worked for me.

Small Tent - Non Electric Wild Pitches Apr 2025 Overall, nice staff and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
Lovely location Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Wild Pitches Apr 2025 I wish I had arrived earlier.
My date for this site was not a good one against the British weather. It was really windy and raining. I can do rain but not with wind. Once I set up I stayed in my campervan. The next morning, I went for a dog walk and could see some camping disasters due to the high winds. Showers are clean tidy and spacious.
Food shack on site for cuppas and lovely bacon sarnies. I will be back again later in the year.
Convenient location Recommends site
Medium Tent - Non Electric Wild Pitches Apr 2025 Great site with everything you need to have a relaxing break in Glen Coe.

Phenomenal campsite Recommends site
Small Tent - Non Electric Wild Pitches Oct 2024 This campsite was perfect for what I needed. I was on a solo trip sleeping in my car and had the best spot (I would say) on the campsite. The lady who was at reception was lovely.
The facilities were small and basic, but I wasn't expecting a lot for the middle of nowhere. The campsite was lovely and quiet, I had a break in the rain to have an amazing fire. Definitely going to visit again!
Very quiet site, semi wild Recommends site
Small Tent - Non Electric Wild Pitches Oct 2024 Semi wild site with showers and toilets. Beautiful views and a small river running through it. A short walk away there is a pub that does food and drink at reasonable prices.

VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Wild Pitches Sep 2024 A stunning woodland site, we enjoyed some beautiful weather and campfires.
The drinking water was contaminated, so they provided fresh water at reception. The toilets and showers were basic but cleaned regularly. We will definitely be back.
There was a good pub, within easy walking distance.

VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Wild Pitches Sep 2024 This is a gem of a campsite wonderful location stunning views very friendly hosts.
This campsite is located perfectly for seeing a lot of the sights. We climbed Ben Nevis, visited Loch Ness, climbed around The 3 Sisters. Weather was very kind, we were lucky with that. Toilets and showers were kept clean and tidy.
We recommend the curry from the food van, absolutely gorgeous and excellent value for money. We stayed 5 nights and will definitely return.

A site for everyone who enjoys community Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Wild Pitches Aug 2024 It was a good location for us, we were doing the NC500 in our VW campervan.
There was mostly tents there, younger people than us, but we didn't feel out of place. Everyone was enjoying the campfires, the river running close by and the lovely weather. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
