Great site

Had a great stay here, the site is beautiful and has a good amount of facilities. The owner was really friendly and recommended some cool places to visit nearby. Will definitely stop by again.

Relaxed and friendly

Fantastic campsite with a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. The lady running the camp was very helpful and we felt welcome at the camp on arrival. We had a huge amount of space between tents which was great for our dog. We drove to Southwold in ten minutes on the Saturday and 5 minutes to Covehithe beach on Sunday. Both were great :)

Great place to stay

Field Farm Fisheries was a great, relaxed campsite. Great that there was drinking water and toilets at multiple locations. Always stocked with toilet paper too. There was always someone onsite to help or give advice if needed, like local amenities. We did use the fishing lakes and the fish were certainly biting! My 6 year old nephew had great fun with his dad. The locals using the lakes were on hand to help the novices, which I thought was wonderful. Showers clean and hot, though you do have to pay £1 for 5 minutes of hot water. My coin slot on the shower I went in could only be used when the door was open, but luckily no one came in! There weren't any lights on in the showers, which we felt was a bit poor (either that we couldn't locate a switch). Overall we would stay again. Great place.

Perfect location and site!

I stayed on this site and used an EHU pitch. Perfectly sited my caravan within a short distance of the fishing lakes and with plenty of space all around. Grass kept mowed regularly. I can't comment about the toilets and shower because I used my own. Grey waste could be let out at the hedge line, so no hefting your waste water container around. The toilet disposal was a bit old-school, but functional. The location was perfect and a short drive if you want to be near the coast and Southwold. There's a big Morrisons store within 10 mins, and also some local shops. At the back of the site is a large enclosed field suitable for walking dogs. Bearing in mind this site is open to the public, i.e anglers, it was extremely peaceful. And it was lovely wandering around the lakes of an evening, watching the wildlife and jumping fish. I'd definitely come back!

Beautiful spacious site

Lovely stay at Field Farm Fisheries. Really clean site, with spacious pitches on huge well kept field. Perfect for exploring Suffolk's fascinating coast, heaths & marshes. Basic shower / toilet block but fine for our needs. Need £1 for hot shower. Only suggestion would be to have some recycling facilities please.

Campervan trip with fishing

A first trip to Suffolk for us in our campervan. Lovely spacious pitch with electric hook up, our friends took their caravan and were next door but even so, not on top of us. The grass is kept short, and hedges are neatly trimmed. The lakes are just next door, full of fish of all sizes. Nicky is on hand every day, very helpful and informative about the local area. My only niggle was the lack of shelving in the washroom to put bits and bobs on, and the showers do need 2, £1 coins as by the time the heat is regulated it hardly gave us time to soap and rinse! A very enjoyable stay.

Fantastic place

We absolutely loved this place, it is so peaceful and beautifully maintained. My husband was able to fish right near the park up, and there is a fabulous off-lead area for dogs. We didn't need the facilities, as we were self-contained. We will definitely return, thank you!

Absolutely faultless

Beautiful, peaceful, stress free quick camping trip

Arrived early evening for a short weekend stay away. Greeted on arrival with every piece of info we required, not only onsite but the local area and what everything around us had to offer and for our needs. A short stay for cycling was our motive and our host advised us on the best ways to cycle to local hotspots and further afield. Plenty of space and a well-maintained and orderly campsite meant we were able to set up camp with a telescope to view the pitch-black skies at night. Very thankful for our stay.

Brilliant

Great spot for fishing and dog walking, we only did two nights and we were so lucky with the weather. The owner is so helpful. We will definitely be back again.

Excellent facilities

Clean spotless wash up areas and toilets and showers clean and tidy. For course fishing, there are 6 fishing areas. Perfectly situated to get to surrounding areas.

Just perfect

The perfect base for a weekend on the Suffolk coast - with beaches at Covehithe, Walberswick and Dunwich a short drive away and the Five Bells in Wrentham for dinner, what more could you want. Nicky was fabulously welcoming and the site was well kept and immaculate - much like the facilities! We'll be back for a short break again I'm sure.

Great stay with a great host

I got back from my stay at Field Farm Fisheries today and I loved every second of it. The owner was extremely friendly and gave me so many nice suggestions of what to do while I was in the area. I was also provided with all the information I needed to make my stay seamless. The campsite was relatively quiet for a bank holiday weekend and I would absolutely come back again if I was ever in the area.

Excellent!

Lovely, large, well-maintained campsite. Friendly, welcoming and helpful owner who was available throughout the day and evening. The facilities were clean and checked throughout the day. You can choose where to pitch- within reason and within your allocated field - and because the owners do not overcrowd the site, you have plenty of space and privacy. Great location for visiting Southwold and Lowestoft. Will definitely return!

Great place to stay

We had a lovely 2 nights away. Lovely and peaceful grounds, toilets and showers were spotless, will definitely be returning. The owners are lovely and friendly. All in all, a great place to stay.
