Would have been better if parents told their kids not to run across the pitches that are in use, also parents run across the pitches.

Excellent facilities

We enjoyed our stay at the Hollies. The layout is easy to follow. Walked into reception and was greeted with a warm welcome, told what was available at the campsite then the park warden showed us round to our plot. They have a beach at the end of the campsite which is lovely. We also sampled the fish and chips on site, some of the best we have had. Nothing is to far from this site, shops, piers etc. Thank you for our stay.

Excellent campsite

We were warmly welcomed and given all of the useful information we would need. The warden visited within minutes of parking up the campervan. As first time campers my son and I were extremely impressed with the cleanliness of the site. Lovely small kids playground and a perfect mini football pitch. Walking distance to a vast beach with wildlife galore. We will be back.

Lovely location, clean and organised site

Despite wet weather, my children and I had a lovely stay at The Hollies. We were in the seaside field, with easy access to the beach, which is down some (steepish) steps. The picnic tables at the cliff top were a nice touch, giving us somewhere to sit and enjoy the view. The facilities were very clean, with plenty of hot water. The kids liked the little playground area too. The site feels quiet and rural but it's also very easy to get into Lowestoft, which was a bonus during the rain. Plus, the staff were really helpful and friendly, including giving me a jump when we tried to leave and realised the car battery had died!

Anniversary break

Good facilities, friendly staff, good location

Off peak so site was very quiet. The facilities were well maintained, spotlessly clean and plenty of hot water. Friendly staff who explained all amenities and opportunities for walks from the site via the adjacent beach.

Great stay, would recommend

Had a 2 night stay over the bank holiday weekend. 4 Adults 2 dogs. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Explained everything clearly. The facilities, toilets and showers were very clean and modern. The site had plenty of facilities, coffee man, fish and chips and a cafe. Great pace for a short stay. We will be back. Only thing missing was a pub.

Lovely stay

A more structured campsite than I've been before but could not fault it. You are near main roads taking you to wherever you needed to go. The pitch had good sized tarmac area & grass pitch. The facilities were central to our pitch with everything you need. Clean washing up area, 24hr launderette with very clean toilet & shower facilities. You were right on the beach, but not sure if you have little ones, how accessible it would be as there are lots of steps down to it & the sea was quite a walk out. It was worth the walk as it was very peaceful. Would stay again.

Quick getaway

Couldn't fault the site. We turned up after hours but the site man looked after us superbly, showed us to our plot and explained everything well. The site is extremely clean and so are the facilities. The food van does really good fresh cooked food. We we definitely be booking again ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

2 night stay

Well run, professional site, with good access to the beach area. The men's facilities are being worked on so had to use the "family or disabled" but no problem and in fact, better than some other sites we've used recently.

First trip in the van! Lovely, warm welcome here

Great access to long walks on the beach and very clean and friendly site. A drying room would be good for those wet towels in winter and the men's toilets were out of service but could use family ones. Would visit again x

Peaceful good location

Large site split into smaller fields. The roadways were quite messy but this was wintertime. Several long-term motorised dwellings were on the touring field, with several cars and vans some with 47kg bottles standing in the open, not the best view. The gents toilets were being refurbished, so could not comment on the cleanliness of them. We had to use the disabled ones, which I felt could do with some TLC. Brown limescale could do with some acid to clean off but otherwise acceptable. It needs some vermin traps near the waste bins, though the rats were quite entertaining towards dusk about 5 of them having a whale of a time. I live in the country and expect rats, but they could do with some control on the site. Overall, pleasant stay, needs some TLC in places but off peak, good prices and to some degree, you get what you pay for.

Quick visit

Quick visit for two nights, the dog's first trip in van, which went well. Very friendly staff, a clean and tidy site. Access to the lovely beach, just a bit cold in February but the cobwebs were well and truly blown away. Will visit again, maybe when the sun comes out.

Hidden gem

What a hidden gem, the location backing on to the wild dunes is amazing. We loved it.

Great location

Great location for shopping etc, few steps down to lovely clean beach. Takeaway van on site, great food & good prices. Helpful staff. Only down side was no Wi-Fi sadly but apart from that, really good. Very peaceful stay.

Wonderful

Perfect site for me & my dog in our campervan. Friendly staff, clean site, beautiful beach.

Solo camping

My second visit, went with a friend last time, so felt so secure I braved it on my own with my dog, just as good as 1st time. I love this location and it has all the amenities you need, but for me, it's the view & walk along the dunes/beach - ideal for my dog. It's a dog friendly site. Will be going back again.

Beautiful

A lovely and relaxing campsite. The staff were very helpful and the washrooms were absolutely spotless. The beach was absolutely stunning and the dog loved it, I will definitely return.

Lovely site

A really lovely site and right on the beach. The chippy van was open all year, it was a lovely treat to have right there. The showers were cleans and warm even in winter.

Nice weekend

Nice and clean. Good walks along the beach to Kessingland and Lowestoft.
