Motorhome long weekend

Outstanding site with very helpful owners, perfectly positioned for exploring Suffolk. Site has all the facilities you could possibly want and is spotlessly clean. Will definitely be back, well done!

Beautiful location great amenities

It was my first stay, and I will definitely be going back. It's a lovely mix of static caravans, campers and tents. Great coffee shop on site. Very central. Wonderful warm toilets, amenities and showers. You can have a hot shower after a cold walk. There is a shop on site where you can buy essentials. It also has a cafe and they do Fish & Chips on Friday, and cream teas on Sunday. It's possible to hire a fire-pit to keep warm on a chilly night. Play area for children, to keep them occupied. The campsite is very central, and easy to get to places like Dunwich, Wistleton, Halesworth, etc. Half a mile down the road is a fabulous baker called Two Magpies (which is dog friendly). There are walks around the campsite too. Lovely, lovely places. My only snag is that you cannot take the dog inside the cafe, which isn't great if you're a single person and have a pup that can't really be left alone.... but, that's by the by - entire world is not set up for single people, especially single people with dogs. We made do. I'm definitely going back - and hopefully ask for the same pitch, and as I loved my location.

Brilliant!

Fantastic campsite! Great playground for children, pitches were nicely maintained, facilities were incredible - so clean, modern, and well looked after! A hidden gem of a site, we will definitely be returning! Only downside is we felt the shop/café times and what they offer needs improving. It shut at 11am and opened at 3pm. Bank Holiday Sunday didn't serve any dinner food, thought it was a money earner missed there! But that having been said, the brick pizza night before was delicious! Thank you Haw Farm!

Amazing stay

We have just stayed here with our 2 grandchildren aged 5 & 9 and it was absolutely perfect. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The owners are super friendly and extremely helpful, the park is clean and tidy, there are onsite facilities that are were always spotless. If you are looking for a relaxing break away I couldn't recommend this park enough, we will definitely be going again.

Friendly welcome. Immaculate site in a tucked away location. Generous pitches and great amenities. The showers are amazing, there's underfloor heating and piped music, better than the majority of hotels. Will definitely return soon.

Thanks for taking the time to leave us a great rating on your review. We appreciate it. Just to clarify, we do have two price structures. One is called saver Season (which is what you paid) and the other is High Season. During Saver Season the cafe is open at weekends (sorry you missed us). During school holidays and throughout July, August and September, the cafe is open every day! We also close the main large bathrooms when the site is quiet, but we hope you found everything you needed in the individual bathrooms.

Christmas

Just spent 3 nights over Christmas. Lovely site. Very clean. Showers/toilets were fabulous. Overall we had a great stay. Walks on Christmas and Boxing Day at Dunwich and Walberswick.

Superb winter stay...

A few nights away for Christmas and to visit local family. Despite it being closed season, and most elements being closed down, the facilities on site were impeccable. We will be back!

Great find

Lucky find - this superb campsite is very much recommended. Fantastic facilities, very thoughtful layout and really friendly owners. Great base for a look around Suffolk. Wouldn't hesitate to return here - maybe in Spring time with a hope of slightly better weather!

Holiday visit

Extremely clean everywhere with modern, up to date facilities and the owners were very helpful and friendly. Had a wonderful week. Central location to lovely beaches and nature reserves for dog walks. Fox Inn a must to visit for food and lovely staff.

What a gem of a campsite

We loved this site. Very well run. Clean all around the site. Everyone very friendly and so helpful with information about where to go and how to get there. So well thought out. Whilst staying we inadvertently crashed the astronomy enthusiasts stay. Meaning the site was dark at night-time. It added to our experience of our time at Haw Wood Farm as no light pollution and the stars were incredible. The bathroom/showers were the best I've seen yet. Hopefully we'll be back at some point.

Excellent site, highly recommend

An excellent campsite. Really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. A lovely cafe and play area. We enjoyed the table tennis. The facilities were immaculate. Really dog-friendly and a secure dog walking field which was ideal for us. Only an 8 min drive to the beach. Would definitely go back.

Great site. Lots of pitches. Nice little cafe with friendly staff and helpers. Very informative staff, nothing was too much trouble. Shall return.

Excellent site

Very welcoming on arrival. I feel the shower/toilet facilities are the best gauge of a site and Haw Wood Farm's are superb. We were lucky to have two clear nights and the stars were so bright & clear. Thoroughly recommend this site.

Great facilities

Super shower block and toilets. Very clean. Good value. Only negative would be a lack of contact with/from the staff on site. Called landline, no reply, so tried mobile number, which went to voicemail. Left my number but no-one called me back. That said, would recommend. It was nice.

Lovely park in great location to explore the best Suffolk and Norfolk has to offer. Facilities are 1st class and kept clean.

Beautiful Site

Our first visit to Haw Wood, we visited on a recommendation and we were not disappointed. Toilet and shower block very clean and modern. A great shop and cafe, great breakfast bap. Would certainly visit again.

Lovely place to stay and very dog friendly

Lovely clean shower block. The cafe catered well for my gluten free bacon bap! The dog walking enclosed meadow is a gem for lively dogs. I will definitely stay there again for sure!

A very nice site

A very nice site. Showers were hot at times and it was difficult to change temp, but the toilet block was very clean. It was an amazing site, would definitely go back with the grandchildren and other members of our family.

Best yet

Absolutely wonderful campsite. Very high-end with immaculate and well-equipped facilities. Very welcoming all round. The staff and other campers were all a pleasure to meet. We will definitely stay here again when we next return. We did do a lot of driving but we planned on seeing as much as possible. Also had some great runs around the area. Just make sure you take your phone for routes. We drove to the shore about 12 mins away and watched a beautiful sunrise. Highly recommend. Stunning. We were here late September so were up and out by 6am. Two Magpies bakery is a must. It's just at the entrance to the campsite.
