Sprinter-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Touring Pitches Aug 2025 Beautiful location, nice size pitches. Peaceful. Very helpful staff. Immaculate.
You get an entire toilet/sink/shower cubicle to yourself. Good wash up areas. You can get rid of your "waste" as well.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 Stayed with a friend, vw & tent. Have zero faults.
Great for families as plenty of room for kids to explore. Friendly ponies wandering around by the lake. Friendly staff.
We couldn't get anywhere closer to the waterfalls as last minute booking. Glad we couldn't as the drive was breathtaking and we climbed Pen y fan 20 mins away.
Very good site Recommends site

Tent pith Recommends site
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2025 Pitch no 38 right next to the toilet - not much sleep, people using the toilet all hours of the night could hear everything not very private.
Lovely site Recommends site
Extra Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 Nice friendly site. Kids enjoyed themselves. Problems with other noisy campers dealt with quickly.
Theresa, the cleaner, does an amazing job of keeping the facilities clean and tidy. We will come back again.
Great campsite! Recommends site
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2025 Facilities were clean, which made for a comfortable stay. The site was patrolled to ensure everybody’s having a great time and there were no rule breakers. Close proximity to the lake, which has good options for hiring boats, paddle boards, etc.
Beautiful place Recommends site
Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 Just back from a 3 night camping trip at Lakeside. We chose an electric pitch and were in Elwyns Field plot 4. Site was beautiful and clean with ample toilets and hot showers for all campers. Chemical disposal, and washing up facilities also ample.
The pitch was a good size and easily accommodated our large tent. the site is a 5 minute walk from Llangorse Lake and all the facilities it has to offer including café, shop and club house. We didn't eat there but the food looked good and drink prices were reasonable. The shop on site is a little expensive but your a 2 minute drive Llangorse village or 10 minutes from Brecon with a couple of supermarkets and numerous shops..
30 minutes the other direction and you're in Abergavenny so the location is ideal and of course all the Brecon Beacons National Park has to offer is right on it's door step.
The views from the park are spectacular both day and night. We were lucky to have a couple of cloudless nights and it's perfect for stargazing.
Even though the site was busy it has a no noise after 11 policy so its lovely and peaceful for a good night's rest. We loved it there and will definitely be returning.
Really enjoyed my stay! Recommends site
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2025 Really enjoyed my stay! Family oriented and peaceful.
Good campsite Recommends site
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2025 Clean facilities -.
Note……Camping with tents is very strict on plot number provided in welcome email. I pitched a 1 man tent in my plot but was advised to move it slightly 4 ft to the left of where I was pitched. Received a call on this 15 mile into a walk.
Site's response
Hi Gary
Thank you for your review and for highlighting our clean facilities - we really appreciate it!
We do ask guests to pitch within their allocated plot to ensure everyone has the space they’ve reserved and to avoid any overlap with other bookings.
When we spoke, I explained that your tent was set up on the neighbouring plot, which had been reserved by other guests arriving later that evening. I also reassured you there was no immediate rush to move it, just that it needed to be adjusted slightly to avoid any issues later on.
We appreciate your understanding and hope you enjoyed the rest of your stay.
Really nice campsite Recommends site
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2025 Really enjoyed our stay here, location and lake were beautiful, toilets and shower blocks were clean and the shop was stocked with all the amenities you would need.
The staff in the bar were friendly and helpful. The view of the stars at night was beautiful.
Brilliant Recommends site
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2025 Absolutely amazing site & we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
Only improvement would be to have either a squeegee or mop & bucket at shower rooms so that they could be wiped out after use.
Great stay Recommends site
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2025 Our stay was welcomed by great host who welcomed us warmly and accommodated our late arrival at the site.
The location is great itself with a view straight out from a little walk from the pitch. Toilets and showers were well kept tidy and I have to day we will be back soon.
Great campsite in perfect location Recommends site
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2025 We really enjoyed staying here. It is a lovely campsite, spacious, good facilities and clean with super friendly staff. Really safe for kiddies and a great atmosphere all round. We will be returning to this campsite as the location in
Brecon is ideal for exploring and there is so much to do close by, plus the scenery is out of this world.
We have a lovely time Recommends site

Lovely place Recommends site
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Jul 2025 Can't fault my stay, fairly out the way but beautiful place.
Nice site, great spot Recommends site
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 Llangorse is in a great part of Wales and it certainly is beautiful around there.
The site was quite big, being dominated by a large area set aside for static caravans, which you had to navigate through to get to the tent pitching areas.
Personally, I would have preferred more direct access to the tent pitches, especially as to walk our dog off the lead, we had to walk back and forth through the static caravans every time.
Our pitch was No1 and it was directly beneath a number of large trees. This meant little or no sunshine actually hit the tent and as we prefer not to pack our tent away wet, we were forced to leave a day early to avoid the forecast rain on our last day. Being beneath the trees also meant lots of twigs underfoot and lots of debris falling from the trees onto our tent during the night - neither of which we would have had by choice.
There are a huge number of bins provided around the site (good point), which you are expected to put your rubbish in according to recycling rules. Fine, except most people cannot be relied upon to do as they're told and un-recycled rubbish filled most bins (bad point).
On the first morning, after arriving between 18:30 and 19:00 the evening before, I thought it a good idea to stick my head in reception and say hello, a nice courtesy I thought. I was in the process of saying hello and explaining myself to the young girl on reception, when a more mature lady pushed into the conversation, got the wrong end of the stick and was most officious - I did not need to be busy-bodied at that moment.
The toilets and showers were okay, except that a number of the toilet seats were broken and missing lids in some cases. They were cleaned regularly though. It would be nice if the hand-driers automatically went off at 10pm, which we have experienced at other sites, as our proximity to the toilets meant we struggled to get to sleep with the drier forever going off.
On the whole, the site was okay.
