I really enjoy my stay and the manager was very welcoming and was there if I needed anything.
I will definitely be staying again.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches (8m) Jun 2025 We were very impressed with Sommers Wood campsite.
A lovely peaceful site, and ideally located for the NEC where w trended. Show.
The shower block was excellent, lovely hot showers, always spotlessly clean, hairdryer available.
We had an evening meal and breakfast at the golf club next door, a short walk away and received 10% discount as we were camping at Somers Wood, the food was very good and reasonably priced.
We would stay there again.

Very clean great showers large pitches, only downfall was the smell of drains every now and then.

10 minutes down the road for NEC, 25 mins to Birmingham city and still seems like a million miles from a busy city. Nice dog walking area running besides the site.
Toilets and showers nice and clean. Owner was very welcoming. Will be going back 👍🏻😁

Single Axle Caravan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding and Grass Pitches (7m) Feb 2025 Beautiful site surrounded by trees. The pitches were well spaced out leaving plenty of space for awning and car. Facilities were lovely and clean. Security gate on entry. Woke up to the sound of a woodpecker!

So pleased we opted for Somerswood.
We got held up en route from Scotland and the lady we spoke to on the phone could not have been more helpful.
The toilet and shower block was spotless. There was a kitchen with loads of equipment that we didn’t use but looked great.

First campsite with our camper van
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Touring Pitches (8.5m) Nov 2024 Excellent campsite in a lovely wooded location. It was close to the things we needed to do and it was easy to get to. An excellent registration process and instructions about the campsite.
Lovely facilities for washing dishes and clothes, it was all beautifully clean. The shower block and toilets were excellent and beautifully clean, with a lovely touch of having the radio playing continuously. The pitch was exactly as we booked, with all facilities that we needed.
Our first camper van experience couldn't have been at a better campsite. We are raring to go with more trips now.
November stay

An outstanding toilet/shower block. The best we have ever come across and the cleanliness was above and beyond. Would most definitely visit again.

Attending NEC so very conveniently placed
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches (8m) Oct 2024 Lovely campsite with good facilities, used to attend the NEC for a show. Camping on my own but felt very safe in my van. Hadn't appreciated there was an airport near-ish but this was ok as no noise overnight.
Would happily book again to explore the local surrounding area. Very helpful staff on reception and other campers very friendly to chat with.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding and Grass Pitches (7m) Sep 2024 A lovely site with some of the best facilities we have ever seen. The site is surrounded by trees and although not far from the motorway, you feel as if you are in the middle of countryside.
Lovely walk into town where there are plenty of shops and pub. We had a perfectly relaxing weekend.

Fantastic first ever stay in our caravan
Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches (8m) Sep 2024 Only picked our caravan up end of August. First time caravaners. Wanted somewhere local and this site was perfect. Loved it was adults only. Set up was ideal.
We were on pitch 5 which was handy for water, washing up facilities and the toilet block. All spotlessly clean and in good condition. Very peaceful site, especially at night. Nice view of the golf course across the access road. Fully recommend for anyone wanting to visit the National Exhibition Centre (NEC).
