Clear filters Lovely
Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding and Grass Pitches (8m) Aug 2024 lovely site. very clean and tidy and so quiet. Good sized pitches. Will be coming back. Nice to be able to use the golf club house and get 10% discount on food purchased. Definitely recommend it, many thanks.
Short break in the Midlands
Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding and Grass Pitches (8m) Jul 2024 Beautiful site and excellent facilities, very green, though be aware some plots are shaded for the majority of the day with trees, though this is a very small minus to the site.
One draw back is the busy road nearby though again, this does quieten toward the evening. Otherwise lovely site and plus for golfers as there's a club next door. Second visit and will definitely be back again.
Fabulous place
Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding and Grass Pitches (8m) Jul 2024 Nice location, walked into Meriden with the dog. Had lunch at the Bull, they accept dogs and were very friendly towards us and the dog. The golf club was also excellent and also take dogs. Overall a fabulous break we will be back.
Our stay
Motorhome - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Touring Pitches (8.5m) Jul 2024 A great site set in a wooded area but not overly shaded. You can use the local golf club (adjacent to site) for drinks and food. The village of Meriden is 30 minute walk with really nice restaurants too.
Cannot fault the site.

Beautiful surroundings
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches (8m) Jun 2024 I really enjoyed the serenity of this site on the first day. I had not intended to leave the site, but there were no shops etc. My pitch (38) was just off the shower block, so very convenient.
The quiet was just what I had expected, given it was a child free site.
Unfortunately, whilst I appreciate maintenance work needs to be done. The sit-on mower was used from around 9am to 2pm, which was a huge interruption to the previously quiet site. Perhaps this work could be split over a few days so that it only lasts a couple of hours a day? The site was clean and well looked after.
I would definitely recommend and would return to the site. Thanks to all for a wonderful couple of days.
Great little site & convenient for NEC/City centre

Well organised, very clean and tidy and the staff are lovely. The toilet / shower block is modern inside and spotlessly clean. Nice touch with GH radio playing too. All amenities are well organised like washing up area etc.
It is very quiet mid week (we didn't stay when an exhibition was on at the NEC). Ideal for a peaceful night or two as a stop off or to visit the NEC.

Single Axle Caravan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Touring Pitches (8.5m) Jun 2024 Great place, is really quiet and peaceful. All the pitches are spacious, long way from the power, but they lent me a lead, so be warned about that.
The showers and toilets were excellent and very clean.

Peaceful stay at a fab site
Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches (8m) May 2024 Somers Wood is a really pretty and well kept site for adults only. It is surrounded by gorgeous trees so feels really remote despite being close to Coventry and Birmingham. The pitches are all a good size with hardstanding and a patch of grass separating each one. We stayed on pitch 40, which was plenty big enough for our caravan, awning and car at the side. The facilities were spotless and of high standard. Showers are free flow and lovely and hot and the cubicles big enough to keep your clothes from getting wet.
There's a nice little walk into the village of Meriden, which has a couple of pubs/restaurants and also a Co-op, Budgens and a chippy.
Birmingham Airport is fairly close by, so you can hear the planes taking off, but you soon get used to it and it doesn't take anything away from the peaceful feeling at the site.
Had a really lovely few days and we will definitely be back!

Woodland rest
Trailer Tent - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Touring Pitches (8.5m) May 2024 This was a lovely site set in woodland. It was quiet and welcoming. The shower/toilet facilities were lovely. Clean well keept and modern. We had a lovely stay, I would highly recomend it. Lovely walks and close to bus links and some lovely pubs.

Sommers wood weekend break
Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding and Grass Pitches (8m) May 2024 Somers wood caravan park was clean and tidy and a very peaceful place to stay. I would highly recommend a break there and will definitely be going back at some point in the near future.

Midlands moments
Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Pitches (8m) Apr 2024 We chose this site for its proximity to NEC and were able to cycle there in 15-20 minutes.
We also liked the fact it caters for adults only. The grounds are well kept and pitches spacious. The facilities are modern and clean. Communications and entry arrangements were smooth and succinct.
Thoroughly recommend this site.

Fantastic campsite!!
Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches (8m) Mar 2024 Was greeted upon arrival by a very friendly lady who immediately made us feel very welcome.
The pitch was perfect for our 3 berth caravan and we could easily have fitted a large awning alongside, had we wanted. The toilets and shower block was immaculately clean and up to date, even boasting complimentary pictures and played our favourite radio station throughout! The grounds were perfectly kept and ease of access into and out of the site was made easy by remote code access.
We chose this site because of its near location to the NEC, however we will definitely come back just to stay at this amazing site.

Ideal location for our needs
Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding and Grass Pitches (7m) Nov 2023 No real problems but a little niggle, found entering the code to enter the park a little fiddly as not well lit. Also having to put the code in when leaving the site was also a bit of a pain as the key pad is not on the drivers side so you have to get out of your vehicle to key in the code, not too bad in dry warm weather but not so good when it is raining or cold.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches (8m) Nov 2023 What a lovely place!
I was attending an event at the NEC for 2 days and, as I was rather late booking, the hotels were astronomical! I thought a couple of nights away in the van would be perfect, but it meant I would be camping solo and, as I needed to look professional at the event, I decided to look for a campsite with facilities rather than a pub stopover.
I had a fair drive to get there and I was worried I would be later than the last check-in time (which I was, due to an accident on the motorway) so I rang ahead and spoke with the owner. She was immediately kind and helpful. She provided all of the information I needed to access the site and ensured I knew where to find her mobile number in the event I had any difficulty.
I arrived after dark so took a while to find the exact spot my pitch covered (I was tired after a long drive ;-) ) but I discovered they honoured my request to be close to the wash block. The site was quiet and I was parked under trees with a family of owls - it was so lovely. I felt safe and sheltered and very cosy!
The wash block was immaculate - warm, clean, and plenty of toilets and showers. I didn't need to use the other facilities so I can't comment on them, and I arrived after dark both nights, but on leaving, it looked like a wonderful site all round with access to walks and close to Meriden, which is well served by a couple of shops (with a nice selection of wine ;-) ).
Doggies welcome (although I didn't have mine on this occasion). The info sheet is helpful with numbers for local takeaways (thank you).
Perfect adult only site and I will definitely be back for other NEC shows (no traffic between the site and the NEC both mornings - so a really easy spot less than 10 mins drive).
