Clear filters Lovely, quiet and comfortable site
Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Jul 2024 We really enjoyed our time at Druid's Rest. The pitches are very generous and Mark is a very friendly and accommodating host. It is definitely on our list to return to.

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2024 Our first camping trip as a family. Arrived here Friday afternoon, the owner welcomed us as pointed us to where we could set up camp. Pointed out where the facilities were and the on-site shop.
It's a small site but it's perfect. The shop is open until 9ish. Staff are friendly. Facilities spotless and clean. There were a few issues with noise on the first night with a group of other campers but the owner stayed onsite until late on the second night to ensure there were no more issues.
Amazing views over the night sky when it's clear, and the sound of wildlife and pheasants calling in the morning was great to hear. There is a fairy wood and outdoor games for the kids to play. Would've stayed extra nights if we didn't have to get back home.
Would definitely come back again as it's a good base to explore Anglesey from.

It was our second time, went once when not long open with no electric and been again now with electric. So clean, friendly and not far from the beach or shops, max 20 mins by car. Will defo be going again, thank you.

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2024 Honestly, as first time campers, this place has really set the bar! I really expected an empty field with a portaloo in the corner.
Me, my husband and our 6 year old daughter and 2 friends camped for 3 nights. This place is amazing, toilets - 2 for men, 2 for women, then 4 separate shower rooms with toilets sink and mirror in.
Outdoor facilities to do washing up with hot water and cold drinking water always accessible. To top it off, the lovely owners have a small tuck shop with all the essentials you may have forgotten, and also some added luxuries ( food and drinks). They are there for a few hours morning and evening.
The site was immaculate at all points in the day and, as another bonus, they have some outdoor games and also a super creative woodland 'fairy glen' for the children to enjoy. There are also fire pits that have been cleaned out and accessible to anyone that wants one at their camp and it's £5 for a bag of wood, kindling and a lighter!
We only did 3 nights this time, and we have already looked at the next dates we can go.
I'm not sure I will want to go anywhere else! Thank you so much for having us!
Great campsite
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2024 We had lovely week here, staying for five nights. The location of this campsite is fantastic for exploring the whole of Anglesey by car. We were particularly interested in seeing some megalithic sites around the island so having the monument in the next field was an added bonus! Owner and staff really friendly and helpful. Toilet, shower and washing up facilities excellent and super clean. Lovely coffee from the shop. Thank you!
Great little site
Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches May 2024 Stayed over bank holiday, great site, friendly and helpful staff. Fairly basic site but all you need.
Site was very muddy in parts due to all the rain but couldn't be helped. Has large garden games for kids and a little shop for ice creams, drinks and snacks.
Handy location to get to different parts of Anglesey.

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2023 Great location, as it is central, and so took about 20 minutes to get anywhere so got to explore a lot of places. The facilities were fantastic and the staff were lovely and helpful.

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2023 A great family site. Not too big & pretty quiet when we stayed. The facilities are very well maintained & just what you need on a site, nothing more, nothing less. Lots of fire pits available for use as well, which is a lovely touch.

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2023 First camping trip, took friends and kids with us. Staff were lovely and very friendly. They couldn't do enough for you - games to play for kids and a little forest which the kids loved, they weren't out of them.
Facilities were spotless, will definitely return and would definitely recommend.
Great location and excellent facilities
Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2023 We went as a group of 4 families - 7 adults and 7 children, ageing from 3-13.
The site and facilities were very good and very clean and the site/shop staff were very helpful, chatty and knowledgeable of the area. They also provided a selection of outdoor games. The site shop stocked all the necessities.
The clientele this site attracts were all friendly and good fun, would recommend and will be returning. Thanks for a great bank holiday weekend.

Great stay
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2023 Great campsite! Not overly crowded and noise rules were adhered to. Clean and spacious shower facilities and the showers were always nice and hot! Separate toilet block, so never needed to wait for one.
Very family friendly. Lots of space for kids to play in and the giant games were fun for me and my partner to play with (not just for the kids!) Good location too and Trearddur Bay down the road is beautiful. Thank you for a great stay!
Great stay on a peaceful campsite
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2023 Stayed for 2 nights whilst visiting Anglesey. The site was excellent - very quiet and peaceful. Good shower block and handy shop open in the evenings. Very quiet in the evenings and mornings - perfect!

Summer trip

Unfortunately, we got flooded out on our first night and had to find a Airbnb and then move the tent on our return to the site. The owner was very helpful and reimbursed us the night we missed. Great site, great facilities, great location!

Excellent site
Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2023 This is our second time camping here and we will be back as it is an excellent site. The only thing I can comment on was that not all toilets were open, whilst there were only a few tents on site it was ok but, as it got busy, there were queues.
Absolutely amazing
Jul 2023 This site is amazing, spotless and very flat.
The toilets and showers are extremely clean. Only 15 minutes from the beach, the owner Mark and the staff are amazing and very helpful.

Nice quiet campsite, with good facilities
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2023 Located about 8 miles from Holyhead the local cycle route (route 5) passes close to Bodedern which is the nearest village and allows easy access to Holyhead by bicycle.
There are good facilities comprising combined toilet/basin/shower rooms. There is a small shop which opens quite early if you need some milk or a cup of coffee. There are a variety of fire pits available if you want a fire in the evening and I believe they sell wood to stoke up your fire pit.
The site is not near anything, the nearest village (Bodedern) is about a mile away. There are a variety of games available (large chess set, Connect 4, Jumbo Jenga) to keep the kids happy.
There are some woods as well which I gather may have more activities for children, but I did not investigate.
