Long Meadow Certificated Location, Lynton, Devon

Located on a working farm next to the River Lyn is Long Meadow Certificated Location. This adult only and dog friendly site is set in the picturesque Exmoor National Park and, just a five minute drive from the coast. Based in a Dark Skies Area, you can stargaze from one of five peaceful non electric touring pitches or enjoy a spot of coarse fishing in the neighbouring river.

About the site

If you're after a peaceful countryside getaway then look no further. This small adult-only site is located on a rural working farm and is just a five minute drive from the coast. The riverside location gives fishermen the chance to coarse fish and as it is in a Dark Skies Area, evenings can be spent stargazing. There are five grass non electric touring pitches available. These are suitable for caravans, motorhomes and small campervans. Your canine companions are more than welcome to join you. Please note, this site is for Caravan and Motorhome Club members only.

The River Lyn is next to the site where guests are able to fish.

For grabbing the essentials, there is a Londis a ten minute drive away. If you're after a bite to eat the nearest pub is The Slaughters Inn which is a five minute walk away.

Check-in is anytime after 12pm and departure is due before 12pm.

Fishing in the River Lyn is allowed and you can access it directly from the site.

Things to do on site and in the Lynton area

Head to Sillery Sands Beach (5 minutes) for a relaxing beach day or explore the pretty Porlock Beach (20 minutes).

Exmoor National Park is just a 25 minute drive where you can take the dog for walks along the moors, or head to Valley of Rocks (15 minutes) for a hike!
