Superb Site
VW-Type Campervan - Beggar's Field Electric Grass Pitches Mar 2024 Lynmouth Holiday Retreat is one of the best campsites we've stayed on.
The facilities were excellent, plenty of spotless toilets and showers. Power banks on hand should you need them. A great little shop where you can order fresh croissants for breakfast. The site is really dog friendly with a good dog walking field. The best thing about the site though is the staff. They were absolutely brilliant - very friendly and helpful. They did everything with a smile, including giving us a push off our pitch this morning after the heavy rain last night,
I would definitely recommend this site and I hope to stay here again. Thanks for a great Easter weekend :)

Lovely site
Single Axle Caravan - The View Large Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Oct 2023 Lovely site, well maintained with friendly staff and excellent facilities.
Staff were always out cleaning, checking the site and doing improvements. Toilet and showers were lovely. There was dishwasher and laundry facilities.
View was beautiful. Pub next door was within a very short walking distance and the food was amazing catering for gluten-free as well which was nice. Friendly staff.
On the site at reception, you can pre-order breakfast pastries and sandwiches for the next day. Well laid out site.

VW-Type Campervan - Bay View Electric Grass and Gravel Pitches Oct 2023 100% in all areas - nothing not to like.
Lovely setting with super views, very friendly welcoming staff. Some of the walks can be challenging. Facilities are the best I have every seen on a campsite. Very clean and even had a dishwasher that takes only six minutes. Would without a doubt recommend this site.

Nice site but disappointed that the pub was closed
Motorhome - Rabbit Field Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Oct 2023 Bit disappointed the pub was closed.
£8 each way into Lynmouth for food, which wasn't really a problem. Couldn't do much about the weather. We found the reception was very good and very helpful and everywhere was very clean.
Probably wouldn't stay again because of the distance to village

Unfortunately, the pub next door is a separate business from our campsite, therefore we cannot control when they close 😞

Outstanding place to stay
Bell Tent - Stargazer Lotus Belle Tent (Pet Friendly) Sep 2023 I cannot stress how amazing this place has been to us. We arrived in a plume of smoke as our car broke down and we only just managed to make it to the site.
The staff have been so kind and helpful and words are really not enough to express how grateful we are. The tent is lovely and facilities are well maintained and clean. Our dog, Hugo, has been made so welcome and never seemed to be an issue. We really cannot thank the site enough for their help and assistance, they really went above and beyond to help. Thank you again.

Excellent campsite
Single Axle Caravan - The View Fully Serviced Grass Pitches Sep 2023 My first trip in a 'new to us caravan' after a few years away from the scene.
We arrived at a beautiful campsite to a warm and friendly greeting. They couldn't have been more polite. I asked about a gas refill and was told to go pitch and they would sort it out for me. Within 5 minutes, two guys were at my caravan with a new gas bottle for me. They asked if they could help with anything else and at the time I didn't think there was. Once I pitched up, I realized I didn't have the correct connection for the water tap, went down to the shop to buy a new one to find out they had just sold the last one. Well, that wasn't good enough for the guys, they lent me one of their own until I was able to replace it. Everyday they were out cutting the grass, cleaning toilets and generally keeping the site on an awesome condition. The views were gorgeous and I couldn't have asked for better.
There isn't much to do on site but that isn't how it is advertised. However, because of this it has to be the quietest, most relaxing site I have ever stayed at. Would I go again, you better blooming believe it. I would fully recommend this place.
Awesome doesn't come close.

Excellent site, friendly welcome and great location
VW-Type Campervan - Bay View Electric Grass and Gravel Pitches Jun 2023 Loved this park, even if it's a big site. We had amazing views of the sea and the walls are lovely.
It's a big park with mobile homes but you wouldn't know as the fields are fairly small so limits how many can park up. Second time camping here. Facilities are very clean and lots of showers and toilets in one block.
Just love the location walking into Lynton.
