Kingfisher Pod
Camping Pod - Kingfisher Medium Camping Pod (Dog Friendly) Jun 2023 Excellent site, peaceful and not cramped. The pod was all we needed and felt like camping without needing to pitch a tent. We were provided with all the equipment we needed. The toilets and showers were clean with plenty of hot water and we were fortunate to have beautiful weather.
The only thing I found difficult was having to climb over my husband to get out of bed but that couldn't be helped. We had a really lovely few days.

Thank you Linda for the great review and recommendation. With regard to the bed, you did choose the smaller of the glamping units. Next time try the shepherd's huts, the lodges, large pods or the yurt where there is space on both sides of the bed for getting in and out.

Lovely stop for our last night
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Camping Pitches (Pet Free) May 2023 We picked this site for being in reasonable proximity to our rental return point and weren’t disappointed.
It was good to try an off grid plot and this was in the best part of the campsite - a lightly wooded area at the back close to the small lake around which there was a mowed path.
The name implies it is a long way from anything; however it is just off the A31 and quite close to Bournemouth airport so was noisier than expected, although there was no intrusive noise during the night.
The on-site bar would be a draw as it is not in easy walking distance of a pub.
The facilities were great, particularly the continuous showers and lovely hot water and all very clean. All the instructions were clear and detailed.

Shepherd's Hut - Shepherd's Huts (Dog Friendly) May 2023 Amazing stay, so peaceful and calming. The bar is beautiful and the staff are lovely. Perfect location for a quiet and relaxed stay. Would definitely return.

Lovely campsite with excellent facilities
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Camping Pitches (Pet Friendly) May 2023 A very comfortable site with excellent facilities. The pitch was spacious and well kept. Clean showers and toilets and at least one block always open. A nice bar area. Good food options with the visiting food vans. Fantastic woodland area for walking dogs off lead directly from the campsite. Would definitely visit again.

Couldn’t ask for better
Single Axle Caravan - Electric XL Hardstanding Pitches (Gravel) May 2023 Wonderful atmosphere. Lovely meeting on arrival, excellent space for caravan, awning and car. So peaceful. Lovely surroundings. Excellent showers and toilet blocks. So clean all the time. Brilliant wooded area to walk the dog.
We will definitely be back.

Dog friendly and adult only campsite

Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches (Gravel) Apr 2023 Lovely site just off A31 but far enough away to be free of road noise, maybe the odd motorbike in the distance. Wonderful dog secure woods as part of the site. Will definitely return and have already recommended.

Back of Beyond but Beautiful!
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Camping Pitches (Pet Friendly) Apr 2023 A very well thought out campsite. We felt welcomed from the time of booking until we left this morning.
The location is perfect for visiting the South Coast, or in our case overnighting before catching the car ferry to Jersey today. We enjoyed Montys Bar for a drink and the fish and chip van is a great idea. The amenities block was very clean, warm and well-appointed. The setting for all the various pitches and the shepherd's huts and yurts is well thought out and carefully landscaped.
The wilded areas are lovely for a walk. The bird life all around the campsite is lovely. The whole place is clean tidy and quiet.
Great that this is an adult-only, dog-friendly site. We will definitely visit again.

Motorhome - Fully Serviced Standard Hardstanding Pitches Apr 2023 We stayed for two nights. The facilities are exceptional, very clean and well maintained. All the staff are very friendly and helpful.

New Forest Hoilday

Perfect base for exploring and relaxing
Camping Pod - Large Camping Pods (Dog Friendly) Mar 2023 We stayed in Magpie Pod and it was very warm and cosy. The cooking facilities were really good, with two high-powered gas stoves, and the pod was equipped with a kettle, tea, coffee etc.
The grounds are lovely and quiet, with surrounding woodland and fields. (Some very, very low-level noise from the road) otherwise, the park itself is nice and quiet. The shop is well stocked, as is Monty's bar! The showers and wash-up facilities are so clean and modern, one of the best we have experienced.
The location is close to the main road, which takes you out to the nearby towns/villages. Approximately 15mins from the New Forest, so it's a great base to explore from. We would definitely stay again!

1st time motorhome user
Trailer Tent - Fully Serviced Superior Hardstanding Pitches Mar 2023 We spent 5 days touring around the country in our motorhome, so stayed in 5 different camp sites.
This camp site was by far the best we stayed. Very well kept, lovely and clean, and the staff were lovely and friendly, Would recommend.
