Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2024 I absolutely loved my stay. I had good privacy, facilities were great for me. Saw a lady who lived on site, was friendly, chatty and welcoming. Lovely site with nice walks to a canal, little river was good for the kids.
I would definitely recommend and definitely stay again.

Overnight before Euro Tunnel
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2024 Good pre Euro Tunnel venue. Pity the nearby pub didn't take dogs, onsite pizza was a bonus though.

Dog heaven
VW-Type Campervan - Hardstanding Pitches Jun 2024 Perfect for us and the dogs. No events on, so 400 acres almost to ourselves. Highly recommend for dog owners. Can't say about kids, don't know what they need.
Shower block a bit bit dated, but nice and clean.

Great site
Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2024 Amazing stay, friendly and helpful staff.
Lots of room if like us, you have a nervous dog, managed to tuck ourselves away in a corner. Clean and tidy toilets.
Enjoyed our stay very much and will be staying again very soon.

Lovely site
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2024 Lovely site. Only complaint is that the grass hadn't been cut. I'm disabled and couldn't get to the toilets without help as my crutches, which I need to walk with, kept sticking in the grass.
Facilities very clean, lovely camping fields, people friendly. Would definitely go there again.

Not all of our fields had been cut, sadly the one you chose to stay in had not had time to be cut (I presume it was the field closest to the facilities).

Motorhome - Hardstanding Pitches Jun 2024 Nicely situated, loads of walks, our dog loved the open space, site was nice and clean, we enjoyed our stay and would visit again.

Lovely and calm campsite!
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2024 Thoroughly enjoyed! Only suggestion would be more necessities in the shop. Forgot a few things and would have been nice to just grab them in the shop! Will return.

We have limited space in the touring office/shop for selling essential items and stocking perishables means we would have wastage if not sold as not many guests need the items.
We are more than happy to direct guests to the nearest shop if asked (one within walking distance or 2 minute drive the other a 5 minute drive).

Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches May 2024 Very lovely stay. Easy to find and easy to find your way around the camp suite itself. toilets and showers were clean. Lovely camp site. Will be back!

Very clean
Motorhome - Hardstanding Pitches Mar 2024 Very clean facilities. Lovely walks nearby the site but unfortunately we didn't have the right footwear. Very reasonably priced pub in walking distance where we had dinner :)

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2023 Lovely campsite with huge space for kids to explore. Toilets and washrooms clean. Very helpful reception staff.

Disappointing Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2023 Disappointing visit, we loved it here previously. There were broken toilet soap holders with no other facility, broken toilet seats and little or no soap in toilet block. I did inform the site personnel but it wasn't rectified immediately and only partly sorted the cleanliness problem the following day.

I am sorry for your disappointing visit this time. Unfortunately, there was some vandalism caused to the facilities, including the soap dispensers being pulled off the wall and the soap spread everywhere.
We were unaware that the cleaning company we used failed to send a cleaner until notified by guests staying here. We did our best to clean with limited resources and managed to get a new cleaning company to start the following day.

Amazingly peaceful
Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2023 We were one of the 2 tents there since it was early spring so we had a whole field to ourselves and room to really relax. The toilets and showers were very clean, and even had free hair dryers!
Cannot recommend this site enough!!

VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Apr 2023 One night stay to trial our self made camper-car. Lovely campsite, thank you!
Friendly check in, good facilities, including clean toilet blocks, showers, washing up facilities and plenty of bins. Staying at the end of April meant it wasn't busy and we had so much space to ourselves. We also luckily chose the best weekend (weather wise) so far! Also, café/restaurant, lobster shack, and the pub were super close! Can't wait to come back and stay for longer.
