The place was as good looking in reality as in the adverts
Camping Pod - Suilven View Ensuite Glamping Pod with Hot Tub (Dog Friendly) Sep 2024 The placing of the pod was obviously well thought out. Secluded, on the side of a gentle sloping rise, just the right size of trees in the garden around it. But still maintaining a clear understanding that the view from the veranda must be maintained.
On entry, one was immediately struck by the fact that who ever planned this wonderful highland hideaway, was well versed in what a paying customer will find priceless.
The heating was on, it was a cool Autumn afternoon. The electric fire was switched on, but only at that time only requiring the real fire effect, as the place was warm enough already. Another very welcome and a nice touch was that the Ice making Machine was also doing it's thing. A welcome Gin and Tonic was soon enjoyed after a few hours drive.
The accommodation is very well equipped indeed. Almost every wish is catered for. As demonstrated by the adequately equipped Galley Kitchen. From the ubiquitous Ninja Air Fryer, to the dishwasher, Twin Induction hob, everything was provided to make less work and more time to enjoy the place and area. There was a lovely shower, large double bed and lets not forget the Hot-Tub! A hot tub with a view to die for.
Parking just out from the garden gate and about a mile (1.5km) walk into Lochinver. However, even closer is a very well stocked store. So, in summary; If you don't need a MacDonald's just down the road or unbridled social entertainment, this is the place for you. I'm not even going to start to describe the scenery. One should come and see it in person.

Fab pod
Camping Pod - Suilven View Ensuite Glamping Pod with Hot Tub (Dog Friendly) Aug 2024 We stayed for 2 nights but I wished we booked longer. The pod was so lovely, the hot tub was amazing, the bed was super comfy. It has such a homey feeling and has near enough everything you need.
Will 100% be booking again and would recommend, the ice maker was a lovely addition.

Suliven view pod
Camping Pod - Suilven View Ensuite Glamping Pod with Hot Tub (Dog Friendly) May 2023 It was lovely stop. A nice treat and having planned this since January, we had to book here. Shame about the flies but one got chimney going and they disappeared as they hate heat and smoke.
Great facilities. Love the ice machine. Would definitely recommend a stop here if on the NC500. A spot of luxury. Great for one or two people.
It was me and my brother and we enjoyed it and Lochinvar larder pie shop was not too far away. They are lovely and worth a stop. Robbie roams the NC500 pointed this out and it is worth it.
In few years when do it again, we would come back for sure.

Heaven in a pod
Camping Pod - Suilven View Ensuite Glamping Pod with Hot Tub (Dog Friendly) Apr 2023 Just amazing, a little piece of heaven for me. My 10 year old and I completed the NC500 and this was a perfect location. From the ice maker, tumble dryer to all the little homely touches. Just wow. Thank you.
